Draft at CCB brewery. Nose is resinous pine and earthy woods. Taste is identical to the Ehite Oak Jai Alai with a hint of orange zest. Very good. juiceisloose (1500) - Windermere, Florida, USA - APR 29, 2017
Growler from CCB. Pours a mostly clear dark orange color and topped by a small layer of off white foam that settles into a thin film and leaves soapy lacing on the glass. The aroma shows notes of fresh oranges and orange peel, citrus fruit, grapefruit, vanilla, oak, and pepper spice from the wood. The flavor follows with the juicy orange and grapefruit citrus, spices, vanilla, and oaky overtones to go with the toasted caramel malt base and ample citrus hop bitterness on the back end. Medium bodied and easy to drink with balanced carbonation that leads to bitter sweet orange and vanilla finish. I really like this beer and order it every time I see it on the board. Tasty stuff. Draft. Clear light copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate tropical hop aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium tropical bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of average duration. My exoectations where met. BelgianBeerGal (4121) - Panama City, Florida, USA - NOV 14, 2016
Growler from Growler Country picked up today on the way back from Disney and the cruise. Very tasty pale ale with lots of pithy orange citrus, a touch of pine resin and a light bitterness that lingers. Nice. jredmond (8445) - New York, New York, USA - NOV 14, 2016
Draft at As Is with Dorsey and Gabe. Pours a deep orange body with thick white head. Nose is spicy citrus and unfamiliar/foreign oak. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with notes of spice, oak perfume and citrus fruits. Very strange beer for sure; it seems the flavor profile could be pretty volatile from batch to batch given the unique blend of flavors here. AndyW68 (1582) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - OCT 30, 2016
Fairly good, not great. Clear orange pour with white head. Aroma is faint orange peal. Taste follows nose. Matches name, bit not exceptional. nimbleprop (8589) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - OCT 21, 2016
On tap at Haymaker pours a clear orange with some white head. The orange color is the only orange thing about it. Nose is all vanilla, oak and spice, perfume. Flavor is grossly oaky, like cheap whisky or a bad cocktail. Watery finish. Catastrophe.
