Had Tinplate - ask for Danny Brown
The initial aroma from the can, kind of was less than optimal. However, the taste and flavor was awesome if you like brown ales.

Tap at RNH. Dark brown and clear with a light aroma, a bit of malt, cherry, chocolate, fruit. Taste is malty with some bitter chocolate. Enjoyable. sebletitje (10494) - Enghien, BELGIUM - JAN 17, 2011
Draft at CCB and growler thanks to tpd975. I won’t go over the Maduro description. This is yet another easy to drink brew. The cacao is subtle. On tap, the head retention gives hints of cacao nibs that is not overly strong but adds to the already malty/nutty character of the regular Maduro. The overall palate had hints of cacao that seemed a little too weak if compared with the vanilla and Cuban espresso versions. Just wish the cacao came a little more forward. Still a very solid offering. DrinkEmUpJones (1069) - Georgia, USA - AUG 25, 2010
The beer is a clean brown red in color with excellent lacing. The beer has a creamy mouthfeel. Notes of chocolate coffee stand out. Not a great beer on a hot summer day but a good beer for those cooler months. beernovice39 (3269) - Idaho, USA - JUL 3, 2010
Draft. Looks like the original, maybe a hint darker. Coffee scent and fantastic rich taste. Tried again two days later at RedlightRedlight. Love it.

Pours a nice deep brown with a foamy lasting beige head. Aroma is nutty spicy dark chocolate and cocoa bean, with some hops- floral and fruity notes. Flavor is chocolate, leather, earth, peruvian cocoa nibs (why did I write peruvian?) haha. toasted rolled oats, leafy tobacco and slight sweet tootsie roll chocolate hint in the end. Smooth with a slight spicy kick from the raw cocoa beans, Nice. goldtwins (4319) - Nesconset, New York, USA - MAR 1, 2010
Growler. Poured a clear copper color with an off-white head. Nice roasted malt aroma with notes of coffee and milk chocolate. Roasted malt flavor that was short and mild. The finish had notes of cocoa but was short and a little watery. Mildly bitter. angrypirate06 (1388) - Texas, USA - SEP 27, 2009

(Growler, courtesy of JohnC) Pours a deep mahogany body with medium off-white head. Aroma of roasted grain, nuts, and cocoa. Flavor of nuts, caramel malt, grass, vanilla, and roasted grain with a dry finish.
