A: More coffee and toffee than normally in a brown ale. A little metalic note.
A; Looks perfect for a brown ale: dark brown in color with a nice creamy tan head. Excellent retention.
T: A good caramel toffee note. Cream note. Milky. Goes down easy but with some good flavor.
P: Creamy with a medium body. Metalic finish reminds me of a porter.
Great showing for a brown ale. Brings some flavors that remind me of a porter but a little more.... chewy? A little too sweet in parts but very nice.
minimal head, pours a very dark brown, is very bitter, average carbonation, little sticky, Can at home. unclefrito62 (347) - Stow, Ohio, USA - NOV 12, 2017
12 ounce can at home. Thin beige head. Little bit of film on the glass. Not much aroma. Very dark brown in color. Taste wonderful and is nicely malted. Smooth with medium mouth fill. This is a very nice brown ale worth trying. Cheers! coil (149) - Reading, Berkshire, ENGLAND - NOV 10, 2017

September 2017 - Keg at Beavertown Extravaganza. As 'Cigar City Maduro Brown Ale'. Mahogany brown with an orange hue, foamy light brown head leaves dotted lacing. Aroma is chocolatey, some light roast malts, bourbon biscuit and a definite ready salted crisps vibe on this showing. Body is light and pretty smooth. Taste is chocolate hobnobs, little papery and nutty with a dry finish. A nice brown ale. Seems quite rich but the dispense washes it out a little. (7-4-7-3-15=3.6)
