12oz bottle. Have had this one a couple times now. It pours into a glass a browish red clear color. with a small head the left quickly. The smell is bitter sweet chocolate with a oatmeal smell finish. the taste is sweet on the front with a bitter roasty almost coffee like after taste. Nicely balanced with a nice bitter after taste that makes you want another sip. Not too much going on going on in this beer but it is still a very nice drinking beer. On to the next one!!!!!!!

Pours watery deep amber brown with thin creamy off-white head that fades quickly. Aroma is rich roasty malt, a hint of caramel. Blindfolded I’d call this a porter. Taste is roasty caramel malt, paired with a thin body, solid depth of roast throughout, lots of leather and oak in a relatively thin body.

Canned on 5/15/17 - nose is tobacco, leather and dark chocolate. Sip intensifies the aroma. Sweetish. Roast finish. Would be better with a smoke. Bacchus66 (182) - South Carolina, USA - JUN 9, 2017

Appearance: clear amber-brown with one finger of light beige head diminishing gradually to a thin cap, patchy lacing. (3/5) Aroma: cocoa, oat bread, nutty, toffee & caramel, hint of leather. (6/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate bitter. (7/10) Palate: medium body, soft to moderate carbonation, dry medium finish. (4/5)
Pleasant chocolate and toasted oat character combine with a smooth body to make this easy-drinking and mellow. Nothing too exciting, but a solid (if somewhat middle-of-the-road) example of a not-very-exciting style. (13/20)

UncleKorm (1312) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - MAY 17, 2017
