pours bright gold with a thick fluffy head. All mangos on the nose, taste follows with mangos but finishes with the heat of the chilis. nice balance of the two flavors. hopscotch (11078) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - JUN 12, 2012
Draft… Berliner Bash on the Bay 2012… Deep golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The nose is of CornNuts and chili peppers - no mango here. Medium-bodied and creamy with lively carbonation. The flavor leans just a touch toward the sweet side of balance. There is some really nice chili pepper flavor and heat – not really picking up any mango here either. Raspy, dry finish with a pinch of salt and plenty of chili heat left clinging to the tip of my tongue and washing its way down my throat and into my belly. This is simply a chili and mango infused wheat ale; so why it was served at a Berliner Weisse festival, I haven’t a clue. However, I’m glad it was. Thorpe429 (5035) - , Illinois, USA - JUN 6, 2012
On tap at Peg’s during the Berliner Bash. Served in a mini snifter. Pours a moderate golden color with a thin head. The nose has a decent bit of mango alongside a bit of pepper heat. The flavor takes that and goes way off balance. The heat isn’t super over the top, but it’s enough to take the beer way out of balance, tasting more like a chili beer than any sort of berliner weiss. Background acidity is mild and the mango is quite muted. Not a big fan of this at all. jredmond (8284) - New York, New York, USA - MAY 22, 2012
Draft with Linh at Peg’s during the Berliner Bash 2012. Pours a deep, hazy golden body with nice carbonated lacing. Aroma is nice full mango and light spice. The chili pepper comes out much more in the flavor, complimented by other notes of mango, tangerine, and tropical fruits. A very unique blend of delicious, creamy tropical fruits and hot, aggressive spicy chili peppers. markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - MAY 22, 2012
On draft at Berliner Bash. Pours a hazy yellow-orange with a white head. Nose is a slight hint of fruit with some earthy peppers. Flavor is mild citrus with some light fruit and then out come the peppers. There is some significant bite to this one, but not an offensive amount, and as soon as I thought it might be too hot, the pepper spice starts backing down. Finish lingers with a bit of earthy pepper heat. Very nice overall.

Tap at Peg’s Cantina for Berliner Bash. Full haze gold pour with medium carbonation. Delicious and rich mango & cream nose. Taste is hot hot chili pepper, mild orange, some creaminess. Really spicy. I loved it but get ready because this one does not mess around. burg326 (5482) - Florida, USA - MAY 20, 2012
On draft at Berliner Bash, poured a light hazy golden orange color, aromas of peppers, and light mango. Flavor is all chili peppers, overpowering the palate for me, not much help from the mango, but a pretty decent beer overall. I agree, if the heat was dialed back a little, it would be outstanding. Draft at Peg’s. Cloudy orange color, thick white head, great lacing. Aroma of mango and black pepper. Taste is chili forward but nice, with fruit in the background. Dial back the chili slightly and it would be even better.
