Draft at Hunahpu 2014: pepper aroma. good well rounded pepper taste. background fruit. interesting, but don’t know how much I could drink. 7.2 Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 17, 2014
This one poured a hazy orang e with a white head. Aroma was of hops, light fruit/manog, and hints of peppers. Flavor was bitter hops, light fruit and some heat, a little bit unblanced here,a dn wish there was more pepper flavor. Beardaxe (293) - - JAN 5, 2014
On draft at the brewery. Did not like this at first. Nice, mild mango flavor that came through cleaner than expected and without too much cloying sweetness. However, I thought it was overshadowed by a harsh bitterness from the hops and peppers with no real heat to it. As it warmed and I continued drinking, it all came together a bit more. The habanero does not burn anywhere near other "hot" beers. It's super subtle and just hangs in the back, giving you a little tingle on the lips and a peppery flavor in the finish. I actually could have used a bit more heat here than what was on display. That said, the balance of the beer is nice. Smooth, mildly sweet, and drinkable, not something you generally get in pepper beers.

Tap at CCB. It pours cloudy golden amber with a minimal white head. The nose is chilli pepper, tomato, capsicum, mango and apricot. The taste is initially.... smooth, sweet, mango, peach and tangerine, then the spice creeps in, chilli, light vegetal, earthy and touch alcohol with a lingering tingly finish. Medium body a fine carbonation. For me the balance is spot-on. Surprisingly tasty! Lubiere (13772) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 1, 2013
A lightly hazed golden ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, sweet mix of mango, peppers, weird. In mouth, overwhelming mix of celery salts, sweet mango juice, green peppers, and burning finale. Weird and not my thing.

On tap at Cigar City Taproom, Tampa. Pours a light rusty golden color. Nose is peppery and fruity, with some balanced sweetness. Taste is spicy sweet, and packs some real bitterness to the back of the palate. Complex and interesting taste. Sweetness upfront and a peppery ending. Finish is peppery with a long lingering. On tap at Cigar City Taproom. Pours a dark orange with an off white head and aroma of mango and hops. Taste is spicy and bitter, lots of heat coming from the habanero flavors along with sweet mango, fruity notes as well, and it finishes spicy and hot while lingering. Very interesting mix of flavors in this brew that features heat and sweet mikem409 (2022) - bloomfield, Michigan, USA - JUN 8, 2013

Swing top growler. The pour is a nice orange. The aroma is a nice mix of mango (sweet) and heat. The taste has a lot of heat, wow. Get the sweetness real quick up front, then ouch. Interesting.

Gold, white head. Big spicy pepper nose, tropical fruits. Taste is hot peppers, sticky tropical fruits, somewhat artificial mango puree. Incredibly spicy lasting kick. Smooth sticky mouthfeel.
