Cask at Rattle n Hum. Poured very cloudy dark amber. Sweet mango nose. Big rich bodied with nice mango notes and solid hops. Some sweetness with a medium bitter finish. Nice.

Cask at Rattle n Hum: Milky orange with a fading head. Sweet tropical fruit aroma- some candied citruses, peach and of course mango. Slick body- slightly oily and astringent feeling. The flavor has evident tropical fruit qualities. Similar to their papaya, but with a slight vegetal astringency. Resiny finish. Not bad. These tropical fruit IPAs are nice and subtle, so if tasted blind I would only guess they’re an Amarillo bomb, or the use of hops made it taste tropical.

Dark orange, white creamy head. Soft tropical fruit and grassy citrus aromas throughout. Bitter dry mango-citric flavors ride a light sweet earthed backbone. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, bitter finish. A great beer to enjoy in full Florida sunshine…

Draft. Pours an amber and copper toned body with a light white head. Hoppy with citrus and i suppose mango tones, dry grass y body with some light pine and a dry bittering grass y finish. A nice dry ipa.

cask @ RnH - some tea and syrupy sweet, fresh and citrusy. The fruit tastes like synthetic esters to me. Inferior to the papaya IPA.

blipp (9268) - La Mesa, California, USA - FEB 21, 2010
Cask at RnH. Pours hazy orange with a white head. The aroma has fresh fruity hops and citrus. The flavor brings a cool tropical fruity sweetness, citric hops, and some sweet malts. Pretty good, but nowhere near as good as the Papaya IPA.

From a cask at RnH. Very nice bittersweet blend of flavors. Warm finish. A bit of mango and esters. Very nice!

On tap at the Rattle n’ Hum Cigar City event. Pours a hazy golden orange. Aroma has notes of floral hops, perfume, oak and tropical fruit: it’s obviously mango, but I got more kiwi-strawberry. Subtle tropical kiwi flavor with orange, honey, pine, and perfume. Subtle floral hops finish. A bit syrupy. I like the mango but admittedly hoped for a bit stronger citrus punch.

Cigar City takes NYC event at Rattle ’N’ Hum. On cask. The fruit is in there, it looks great with a big head for a cask. Above average mouthfeel. Cedar in there. Really hoppy.
