COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Russian Imperial Stout is dedicated to Georgy Zhukov, arguably one of the finest generals of World War II. Specifically, it is dedicated to the push by Zhukov’s 1st Belorussian Front of the Red Army through the German-occupied territory of East Prussia in early 1945, setting the stage for the Red Army’s final maneuver into Berlin to end the war. After extensive aging in bourbon barrels, fresh roasted coffee beans along with vanilla and cacao nibs were added to this juggernaut of an imperial stout.

Bottle. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma of bourbon - spicey wood, quite alot of salty licorice, sweet milky chocolate, light licorice powder, herbal coffe beans. Taste is rather sweet, loads of choko, bourbon, coffee, velvet cocoa nibs, salty licorice, fudgey. Good stuff.

Bottle shared with my El Catadorian friends at El Catador comes to Denmark tasting. It pours jet black with a creamy tan head. The aroma is deep roasted with ashy and oak notes. Coffee and chocolate. Great roasted flavor with loads of ash and coffee. Bourbon and coffee. Long roasted coffee finish. Amazing beer.

750 mL bottle. Inky black, thick body. Big dark mocha head. Smells of coffee, nutty malts, bourbon, licorice, lots of alcohol. Tastes of oak, bourbon, heavy chocolate, coffee. Strong alcohol. Nutty malt and chocolate back end. Really heavy and boozy. Enormous alcoholic stout. I struggled with my pour.

75l. 4/10/17. Pours the color of used motor oil. Aroma is dark chocolate malt, familiar Zhukov. Taste is cocoa powder, vanilla, light bourbon barrel. Mild coffee. Medium body for a big imperial stout.

Bottle shared among Aaron, Gus, and ebone1988 at the You Can’t Drink All Day If You Don’t Start in the Morning Brewhaha. 750 mL bottle to complete El Cat #6. The pour is a viscous darkmblack with a thick ring of dark brown head and a good glass-staining bit of legs underneath it. The aroma is fantastic. The dark coffee and hockkate work really well with a beautiful vanilla and a light molasses before the barrel and oak comes in. The flavor is incredible. Dark chocolate, heavy coffee, bitter vanilla, a hint of oak and a lovely bourbon that rounds it all out. The mouth feel is heavy and viscous with a soft carbonation and a coating intensity of the mouth. The aftertaste is coffee and bitter chocolate and a hint of vanilla in front of the oaky bourbon. This is fucking incredible! 9 5 9 5 19

A huge thanks to my boii hoprider for brining this out of the blue!! Pour that beautiful ccb black thick stout, with a small thick mocha head. Aroma has plenty of roasted coffee beans, dark bitter chocolate, roasted malts, slight spiced vanilla, bourbon chewy goodness to it. Pretty darn delicious. Taste has some sweetness to it, but definitely is "dominated" by the roasted bitterness. Rather full bodied, with a somewhat semi-flat carbonation.
