COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Russian Imperial Stout is dedicated to Georgy Zhukov, arguably one of the finest generals of World War II. Specifically, it is dedicated to the push by Zhukov’s 1st Belorussian Front of the Red Army through the German-occupied territory of East Prussia in early 1945, setting the stage for the Red Army’s final maneuver into Berlin to end the war. After extensive aging in bourbon barrels, fresh roasted coffee beans along with vanilla and cacao nibs were added to this juggernaut of an imperial stout.

750 mL bottle. Inky black, thick body. Big dark mocha head. Smells of coffee, nutty malts, bourbon, licorice, lots of alcohol. Tastes of oak, bourbon, heavy chocolate, coffee. Strong alcohol. Nutty malt and chocolate back end. Really heavy and boozy. Enormous alcoholic stout. I struggled with my pour.

75l. 4/10/17. Pours the color of used motor oil. Aroma is dark chocolate malt, familiar Zhukov. Taste is cocoa powder, vanilla, light bourbon barrel. Mild coffee. Medium body for a big imperial stout.

Bottle shared among Aaron, Gus, and ebone1988 at the You Can’t Drink All Day If You Don’t Start in the Morning Brewhaha. 750 mL bottle to complete El Cat #6. The pour is a viscous darkmblack with a thick ring of dark brown head and a good glass-staining bit of legs underneath it. The aroma is fantastic. The dark coffee and hockkate work really well with a beautiful vanilla and a light molasses before the barrel and oak comes in. The flavor is incredible. Dark chocolate, heavy coffee, bitter vanilla, a hint of oak and a lovely bourbon that rounds it all out. The mouth feel is heavy and viscous with a soft carbonation and a coating intensity of the mouth. The aftertaste is coffee and bitter chocolate and a hint of vanilla in front of the oaky bourbon. This is fucking incredible! 9 5 9 5 19

A huge thanks to my boii hoprider for brining this out of the blue!!
Pour that beautiful ccb black thick stout, with a small thick mocha head.
Aroma has plenty of roasted coffee beans, dark bitter chocolate, roasted malts, slight spiced vanilla, bourbon chewy goodness to it. Pretty darn delicious.
Taste has some sweetness to it, but definitely is "dominated" by the roasted bitterness.
Rather full bodied, with a somewhat semi-flat carbonation.

Pours black as night with the nuttiest dark cream head I’ve seen in my beer drinkin experience. The nose is toasty ass shit with dark roast espresso, salty licorice and dark chocolate, sweeter though than regular Zhukov. Taste is deep, rich and dark chocolate fudge. Silky thick mouthfeel, sweet roasty aftertaste. Light bourbon, sticky icky roasty fudge...

750 ml bottle shared by hopscotch - thanks, Eric! Pours a deep, opaque brown with no head at all, but heavy legs in the glass. Loads of bourbon barrel character in here, soaked through everything, giving charred oak, boozy warmth, toasted sugar, and vanilla to roasted malts, caramel, marzipan, and molasses. Medium-full bodied, with a sweet, sticky mouthfeel and low carbonation. A little carbonation would help, but otherwise this is big and rich and tasty.

Bottle sample at Muckfest VII on 6/17/17. Pours black with a medium light brown head. Nose of malt, rich chocolate and slight booze. Malt and chocolate brownie flavor with some bourbon before a chocolate finish. Yeah, pretty tasty.

Bottle shared at muckfest. The beer is a near black with a khaki head of foam. Vanilla, bourbon, coffee, molasses, and caramel in the aroma. Rich, sweet, boozy taste. Big body and medium carbonation.
