Tap at Rattle’n’Hum. Blueberry, warming alcohol, sweat, vanilla. Moderate barrel character, thankfully not too much, but I still prefer the beer without. TeamTrappist (832) - jericho, New York, USA - MAR 1, 2010
Tap at Rattle n Hum. Bourbon chocolate roasted malt nose. Strong solid malts. a big solid stout with big roast malts light chocolate and a touch of bourbon but by no means does the bourbon dominate, a nice touch. No sweetess at all. Very good. Tap at Rattle n Hum: Opaque black with a fading brown head. Big black malt aroma with some cedar notes, cinnamon and other Christmas spices. Slick and warming body. Spicy flavor with a huge malt depth. Dark chocolate and peat are prevalent with a tobacco earthiness and woody presence. Another great Imperial Stout from these guys. malrubius (3047) - Springfield, Vermont, USA - FEB 26, 2010
On tap at RnH. Black with dark brown head. Roasted chocolate and earth and ash. Rich roasted coffee and chocolate earth subtle dark fruit and more wood. Rich, soft palate. Rich and dry finish finish. More suited to my taste than chewing on cedar. Excellent. adrian910ss (2597) - Doylestown, PA, USA - FEB 22, 2010

Draft. Pours a black body with an off white head. Creamy rich vanilla notes with a light bourbon tone. Roast y chocolate with a nice modest etoh warming. Roast y dry coffee tones, some silky chocolate hints, with a drying finish. Very light barrel, fantastic recipe tho i’d rather the cedar, thats the shit! goldtwins (4319) - Nesconset, New York, USA - FEB 22, 2010
Tap @ Rattle n’ Hum. Poured black. The aroma was excellent a mix of vanilla, brown sugar, wood, and sweet roasted. All blended but distinct. Bourbon and vanilla flavor with a sweet roasted malt base. Medium bodied and silky on the tongue. Warming. blipp (9790) - La Mesa, California, USA - FEB 21, 2010
Draft at RnH. Pours near black with a brown head. Roasty aroma with dark chocolates and a bourbony sweetness. The flavor is way roasty and almost smoky, with a solid bourbon sweetness and lighter espresso notes. Very good, my favorite of the night. zdk (1917) - New York, New York, USA - FEB 21, 2010
Tap @ RnH event - molasses, dark sugar, prune, though carbonation is sprightly. Dark bitter chocolate with some bitterness. Huge woody presence and smokey bourbon. not quite as good as the BA Hunahpu. JohnC (3008) - Mission Viejo, California, USA - FEB 20, 2010
