Craft Clapham. Keg. Route 66 event with most of the London crew. Opaque dark brown beer, decent tan head. Palate is smooth and slightly viscous. Decent fine carbonation. Smooth and soft dark malts, some dark malt cream. A touch of roast bitterness. Good coffee. Little dark fruits. Light semi dry finish. Nice one.
UPDATED: OCT 26, 2015 Keg at CBC Clerkenwell. Very very nice stout here with great tan head. Big on the chocolate, coffee cream. Really smooth and drinkable, with a rich velvet texture. Best imp stout for a while for me. Theydon_Bois (19189) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - OCT 19, 2015
Keg at Route CBC, CBC Clapham, 02/10/15.
Pitch black topped with a dirty tan head that collapses to a neat swirl, a real looker of a bier!
Nose is big on coffee grinds, light spice, chocolate, toffee fudge, rich malt.
Taste comprises solid coffee licks, subtle barrel tones, chocolate, hint of dark fruits, malt backbone, subtle spice.
Full bodied, oily mouthfeel, warming alcohol in the close.
Solid coffee impy.

Keg at Route CBC. Black with a big dark brown head. Aroma is filter coffee, red berry, bell pepper, chilli. Coffee sweets. Body is medium, tingly carbonation, slightly foamy. Taste is coffee, toffee, salted caramel. Definite salty vibe coming through with the coffee. Very nice. harrisoni (18410) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - OCT 10, 2015
On tap at Craft Covent Garden, black beer lasting tan head. Big coffee on the aroma. Smooth imperial stout beneath it. Wow that is a sipping beer. The chocolate comes through. I mean itís superb. Beer of the day. Intense yet balanced. Some milk vanilla maybe. But the coffee and chocolate are amazing. Stunningly good. Itís smooth intense and glorious. Draft at Craft Beer Co. Clapham during Route CBC - London. Pours oily black with a dense, creamy tan head. Hard roast in the nose, dry chocolate, ground coffee. Medium to heavy sweet flavor with notes of cheap chocolate, rich roasted malts, alcohol, bitter earth, latte. Full bodied, chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish with a bit of green pepper, booze, cocoa, roast, earth, dry coffee. Not bad overall. Nocturne (1992) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - OCT 8, 2015
Tap at Route CBC, London. Black with tan foam. Aroma is quite shy to show itself. Just some light earthy roast and coffee. Taste knocks it up a notch. Explodes out with a thick malty assault on the tongue. Lots of dark chocolate, coffee and vanilla. Love the thickness of these CCB stouts. Really good stuff. Tap. Pours pitch black with a creamy big tan head. Aroma is just a coffee bomb! All the flavours of the original is there, but then ad tons of coffee, different types. Fresh grind beans, fresh press coffee, espresso, coffee berries, dry cocoa powder. Taste is just pure blend of awesome coffee on a very balanced base. Loooong roasty finish with bitter coffee and dark chocolate. Full and so creamy body.
