COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Neils Bohr was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 1885. His contributions to our understanding of the physical world have made him one of Denmark’s most famous citizens and one of the 20th century’s most influential scientists. In 1922, Bohr was awarded the Nobel Prize in physics “for his services in the investigation of the structure of atoms and of the radiation emanating from them.” A prolific scientific collaborator, Bohr mentored many of the great scientific minds of the 20th century.

Bottle generously shared at the RBSG grand tasting. Pours like a black hole with a shiny and sexy tan head. Aroma is pure chocolate liqueur. Flavor is rich, silky chocolate. The body is just so silky smooth. Luscious chocolate. Awesome and oh so luscious. Did I want to have sex with this when I took notes?

[email protected] Bar, Copenhagen. Black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, toffee, some liquorice, alcohol and mild notes of hops and some slight metallic edge to it. Flavour is liquorice, alcohol, dark dry fruits, some toffee and smoked wet wood as well. Quite pleasantly balanced.

On tap at Mikkeller Bar. I pours pitch black with a creamy tan head. Loads of roasted malty notes that leads to bitter coffee, chocolate with som edark fruity notes. The flavour has lots of dark fruity notes with roasted coffee beans, chocolate, liquorice and a fair amount of hops. Very good!

Bottle courtesy ericandersnavy. Pours a very dark brown color. Thick appearance. Aroma is maple syrup, dark chocolate and easy roasted malts. Slightly smoke. Flavor is dark and roasty malts. Dark and sweet sugar. Finishes dark and bitter roast.

Clear dark black colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, caramel, chocolate, fruity, light to moderate hoppy. Flavour is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, chocolate, dark dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110525]

Pours completely black with a ring of beige foam. Aroma has mild liqourice, dark chocolate, light roasted malts. Light carbonation, super creamy palate. Flavour has liqourice, lots of dark fat chocolate, some liqourice root, herbal notes. Nice graininess with a mild astringent feel at the end. Yum.

Very similar to dirac. Maybe a little more roasty. Dark pour with a thin tan head. Aroma is dominant roast maybe some figs thrown in. Dark fruit coffee and heavy roast.
