750mL bottle. Poured near-black with a remarkably dark brown head.. looked quite imposing in the glass! The aroma picked up a hefty dose of raisins, molasses, and licorice with accents of coffee roast, herbal hops, and rye alcohol.. large and in charge. The flavor found mostly licorice and molasses at the core, along with a good hit of golden raisins.. oxidation and misplaced nutty roast laced throughout.. finished dry with powdered molasses, raisins, and roast. Heavy-bodied and very filling on the palate.. tangy and warm in the end, but the balance held.. very good overall.
75 cl bottle @ home. Pours black with a tiny tan head. Aroma and flavour are roasted malt, dark chocolate, dried fruit, alcohol, and liquorice - with a roasted finish. SlackerMads (3360) - DENMARK - FEB 18, 2016
Bottle. Black with a medium sized diminishing light brown head. Roasted malt, gravy, salt, berries, cocoa, wood, mold, old coffee grounds.
Medium/full body, oily texture, filling sweetness, high acidity, fine bitterness. I don’t know what the high acidity is about, but it makes it really difficult to drink. It was the same in Bohr, so I guess it is either intentional or the same thing going wrong, perhaps because of age. Either way, this is not good. Finishes sticky, salty and acidic. Ridiculous waste of money sums it up. rdixon77 (2763) - Georgia, USA - MAR 14, 2015

[Bottle at Grand Tasting RBNG14 – Halden]
From a shared 75cl bottle at RBNG-14. Pours very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of dark malts, dark fruits berries and lots of chocolate. Quite sweet but still balanced. Not as good as Bohr, but certainly a pleasant one!
