750 bottle shared with drowland, pours black with a nice brown head and lacing through out the glass, aroma is of sweet vanilla, raisin and some dark fruit, the flavor is pretty intense on the front end with the raisin and caramel, has a good amount of coffee notes in the finish but not overpowering at all, very nice indeed. thirdeye11 (6160) - Dallas, Texas, USA - AUG 12, 2011
(750ml bottle thanks to JJFoodie) jet black pour, very dark brown bubbles with a really nice coating of the glass. Nose of fudge, raisins, cinnamon, sweet milk chocolate, wood, and delicious sweet milk chocolate. Taste of rum, rich fudge, maple, raisins. Very rich and decadent. Thick finish and body. This is an excellent beer! Gription79 (2891) - Bountiful, Utah, USA - AUG 11, 2011

Bottle; pour is murky brown with a hint of amber in this glass. It poured flat because.... well. That’s a story for another day. But I wasn’t going to waste this bad boy. The nose is boozy, chocolate syrup, port, dark fruits. This is a fantastic barrel aged blend; its oily up front, with a bitterness balanced by the sweetness. The booze present bites near the finish. Chocolate, port, dark fruits, raisins, booze; nice! beerchugger (716) - North Canton, Ohio, USA - AUG 6, 2011
Pours pitch black with a full brown head. Vanilla, bourbon, cinnamon and other baking spices, dark fruits like dates and figs, oak and chocolate. Nice coffee flavor on the palate with rich vanilla, chocolate, bourbon, rum, and oak with a nice bitter roast in the finish.

Thanks Greg for sharing this. I really enjoyed it! Pours black with tan head. Aroma is cinnamon, raisin, chocolate, roast, and rum. Heavy mouthfeel. Flavor is strong cinnamon upfront, but not overpowering. The middle has a nice chocolate raisin note and finishes with a roast and rum coffee flavor. Simply outstanding. phredrik (1024) - Copenhagen (formerly Aalborg), DENMARK - AUG 5, 2011
Thanks to RasmusOtt for sharing. First of all - what a cool name for a beer. Anyway, it pours pitch black with a quickly diddipating brown head. Aroma has cappuccino, coffee, brown sugar, spicy rum, caramel, a smell of the garment traditionally used for coffee bags, a hint of oak and raisins. Taste has a lot of liquprice, coffee, very spicy, like chili and cinnamon, the spices take over a lot, roasted cocoa, roasted malts, burnt caramel, very nice but a bit too spicy and roasted. It is a really good beer, both smell and tastewise, but it seems a bit overdone in some elements. Solid, though. smith4498 (3646) - Winter Springs, Florida, USA - AUG 4, 2011
Viscous black pour with brown head. Aromas of rum, raisins, chocolate, cinnamon and roasted malts. Sweet chocolate and roasted malt flavor with a hearty dose of booze. Raisin, plum, vanilla and cinnamon also. Thick, viscous body with minimal carbonation. A really nice beer but hard to drink more than a few ounces because it’s so rich. Pours black with a dark brown head. Aroma is chocolate, cocoa, roastyness, spice, coffee/mocca, tobacco, toffee, sweeet rum, vrown sugar, vanilla, darker fruits and ofc the raisins. Taste is huge spice, coffee, english liquorce, roastedness, cinnamon, nutty character and the stuff from the aroma. Yes! bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JUL 29, 2011
