COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pours amber in color with notes of caramel and slight hints of red delicious apple in the aroma. Flavor has a moderate earthy and herbal hop bitterness followed by moderate caramel notes that are subdued by floral hop bitterness in the finish. A damn good and authentic ESB.

On tap at Rattle and Hum, NYC. Slightly sour peanut aroma with faint citrus and apricot esters. Hazy tawny bronze under an eternal, nitro, off-white blanket. Sourish, slightly woody apricot and brown sugar flavour with moderate bitterness and a dry finish. Medium light body, moderate to light carbonation, smooth but dry feel.

Tap at Redlight. Clear brown pour with an off white head. Nice bready malt, noble euro hops in the aroma. Nice toffee, bready malt body with just a dash of earthy hops in for bitterness. Good session brew.

Creamy white head floating atop a coppery pool of beer. Plenty of lacing. Fruity malt aroma. Sweet malty flavor with a very slight metallicness. Not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Ancient rating from Hunahpu’s Day 2012, I recently found my tasting notes. Figured why waste good ticks…. citrusy and slightly funky. but overall crisp and good malt core for an esb. sessionable for sure.

glennmastrange (2899) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - FEB 6, 2015
Tap, nitro. Light aromas of bread, harbs and leaves. Head is large, cascading light tan with thick creamy lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is light brown. Flavor starts slightly acidic, then finishes lightly to moderately bitter. Palate is medium, creamy with a soft carbonation. Super easy drinking and nice tasting ESB.

Deep copper color, modest head. A little leafy and peppery in the aroma. Light to medium bodied, tobacco notes at the end. Light and easy drinking, seems very true to style.

Tasted on 5/26/12 from a growler, thanks to Nick. Pours clear amber with a thin white head that leaves thin lace. The nose is nice bread malt balanced by some spicy hops. The flavor is a bit more assertive with a bit of sourdough bread and more hops spice and bitterness. The body is light with average carbonation and a long sourdough bread and bitter hops finish.

Nice looking pour, creamy head. Fresh grain, yeast, caramel, some iron. Draft at Barcade Brooklyn. A good English bitter, with a dash of sweetness.

October 19, 2012 tap (cask) from the brewery. Copper pour with huge head. Malty and caramel aroma and taste was same with slight bitterness and a spicy finish. Smooth and creamy, which I like, due to the cask.
