Black pour with tan head and lace. Aroma of sweet chocolate and coffee. Sweet chocolate, coffee, and roasted malt. Medium malt bitter. Medium full bodied with good carbonation. Pretty nice beer. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 21, 2013
750ml bottle, 2013 vintage, thanks to b3shine for sharing (one crossed off the wants list!). Dark brown / black color. Nice brown head. Good lace. Nice coffee bean and vanilla in the nose, hint of that maple wood. Maybe some chile at first, but none of that at all in the flavor. Awesome blend of maple wood, vanilla, coffee, darker chocolate in the flavor. Nice big sweet flavor, but a good light bitterness, too. Bigger body. Good chewy texture. Smooth, creamy, light carbonation. Great stuff! Not too sweet for me b3shine (9010) - Indiana, USA - MAR 20, 2013
750 ml bottle to snifter shared by me with the group (thanks for this one, drowland!). Looks good; black with light beige lacing. Smells good too; ROASTY and malty with notes of maple wood. Tastes like it smells with a sweet backbone and a nice vanilla presence. Nice and smooth on the palate. Good beer. TURDFERGUSON (4058) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - MAR 4, 2013
On bus, shared during RBWG. Thanks to whomever shared this. Pours a muddy, moat water brown with a small sudsy tan head. Nose is light cocoa, coffee, maple syrup, light cinnamon and other spice. Flavor is similar. lactose is noted more in the flavor than nose, sweetness is greater as well, bit overall pretty solid sweet stout. This bottled brew from a rating party poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized brown colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a very softly carbonated opaque dark brown colored body and a poor lacing. The aroma was brown malt and dark malt. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The nice flavor contained notes of brown malt and dark malt. Delicious and one I would certainly like to have again.

Bottle from an awesome trader. Aroma and flavor of medium roast coffee and vanilla. Just a solid, solid stout. This isn't quite an imperial stout, no matter what anyone says. Now, is it aged on a shit ton of coffee and vanilla beans...probably. Great palate. Great beer.

Appearance: Black with a medium sized tan head and some lacing
Aroma: Roasted malts and chocolate
Taste: Roasted malts, grainy, chocolate and mild smokiness
750ml bottle. Thanks to Matt for sharing... Pours a deeper black stouty pour but not as thick as Zhukov while topped with. A wispy light tan head... Smooth coffee and vanilla character to go along with some a tootsie roll and chocolate...
Flavors are more of the same with coffee and vanilla and chocolate coming through for the majority. Semi-full bodied with light to medium level of carbonation. Flavor and aroma vibrant and smooth throughout.
