Sample at the tap room. This beer pours a hazy dark reddish-amber color with a thin bright white head that recedes slowly to a film. Rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of ripe fruit, yeast and malt. Medium body, on the over-carbonated side with flavors of dark fruit, malt and yeast. The finish is fruity with a sweet malt aftertaste. Decent overall. jcwattsrugger (12524) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - DEC 3, 2011

Draft... Murky burnt-caramel ale with a mid-sized, creamy, off-white head. Great retention. Up front, I can’t pull anything from the aroma, but as it warms I’m picking up all kinds of unidentified fruits - some dark, some tropical and some fuzzy. There are herbal notes too, but I can’t isolate anything. Medium to full-bodied with a whole-milk mouthfeel and zippy carbonation. The Flavor is fruity and tangy with a touch of caramel and enough minerally bitterness to balance things out. Lightly tangy, mildly fruity, bittersweet finish. Nice enough beer, but there’s a lot of mysterious stuff going on here. I blame Mitt Romney. I mean, what do I really know about what went into this beer? Likewise, what do we all really know about Mormons and shady dealings that put Romney in the driver’s seat of the Republican party? This beer was released in the day’s leading up to the RNC in Tampa. Coincidence? I think not! drowland (9053) - Georgia, USA - NOV 6, 2012
10/31/12. On tap at Pinglehead/Brewer’s Pizza. Hazy tan pour with a small khaki head, lots of lacing. The aroma shows bubblegum, yeast, caramel, and fruitiness. The flavor shows more bubblegum, banana, yeast, bread, caramel, and a touch of alcohol. Ibrew2or3 (8814) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - SEP 9, 2012
Poured up on tap at the CCB brewpub with hazy deep ruby body with amber hues and thin off white head. So I’m told this has nothing to do with SeaBass, ok, if you say so. The aroma offers up muted cherries and some coriander like spicy notes. The taste has lots of coriander, prunes, cherries and dark candy sugar. It just comes across as a typical ‘run of the mill’ Belgian like beer. I don’t really get anything wrong with this but I just don’t get the point of this beer.

Tallahassee, Fl - Proof Brewing Company - on tap. Dark orange pour, off white head, decent lacing. Aroma is slightly rubbery and band-aid like. Flavor is somewhat gummy, hints of cherry fruitiness, a bit of odd spiciness and some bubble gum. Turns a bit boozy in the finish. Thickish mouthfeel. Misses the mark somewhat. erickok (6036) - Leuven, BELGIUM - SEP 20, 2012
Dark copper and grey head. Spices, dough, moderate. Sour dried fruit taste. Okay. Dry aftertaste. Not so impressed. Could do with more yeast. Almost too far fermented. Still tasty. (On tap at the brewery) burg326 (5604) - Florida, USA - MAY 25, 2012
Entering old ratings, from notes, poured a dark amber color from CCB, aromas of yeast, dark fruits, maybe figs, some banana, and a touch of malt. Flavors are a hodgepoge of teh aroams, and blended nicely, for such a big abv beer, it was quite enjoyable. Please brew again, solid beer overall. markwise (5450) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - DEC 2, 2011
On draft at Cigar City. Pours a dark caramel amber color with an off-white head. Nose is overripe banana, Belgian yeast, some plum flavor, some sweet malt, and raisins. Flavor is similar with banana/ Belgian Yeast up front and plums, raisins, and malt behind it. Medium in body and no hint of the alcohol presence behind it. Outstanding for the style. jbruner (5274) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - SEP 8, 2012
Pours a dark hazy reddish brown on tap with thin tan head and little to no lacing. Aroma of belgian yeast and dark fruits. Taste follows suit, but a chocolate malt and toffee backbone. Good balance and nice for the style.
