Overall, a nice fruity belgian strong that masks the booziness very well. doppelthat (47) - Tampa, Florida, USA - DEC 10, 2011
Had on tap at CCB. Pours a hazy brwon body with a small bubbly white head. It smells of bananas and some dark fruits and tastes caramely with a kick of dark druit sweetness. Overall a very nice Belgian Dark ale and one that I will be going back to. markwise (5450) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - DEC 2, 2011
On draft at Cigar City. Pours a dark caramel amber color with an off-white head. Nose is overripe banana, Belgian yeast, some plum flavor, some sweet malt, and raisins. Flavor is similar with banana/ Belgian Yeast up front and plums, raisins, and malt behind it. Medium in body and no hint of the alcohol presence behind it. Outstanding for the style. On tap at the taproom also rating #2500: Poured a dark brown chocolate with a off white tan head. Aroma is dark fruits. Taste is raisin and plum fruit with a nice sweet malt that makes it very abbey like. My thoughts is this is very enjoyable to my palate. reminds me of my Belgian beer day! burg326 (5606) - Florida, USA - MAY 25, 2012
Entering old ratings, from notes, poured a dark amber color from CCB, aromas of yeast, dark fruits, maybe figs, some banana, and a touch of malt. Flavors are a hodgepoge of teh aroams, and blended nicely, for such a big abv beer, it was quite enjoyable. Please brew again, solid beer overall.

On tap at Proof. Murky brown-orange pour with thin kahki head. Aroma is bready and dark fruit. Taste is sugary dark fruit, banana, spice and caramel. Nice palate - medium that dries out and leaves you wanting more. msante79 (2244) - Mount Prospect, Illinois, USA - SEP 6, 2012
On tap at Funky Buddha. Pours hazy brownish amber with an off-white head. Aromas of bubblegum, yeast, spices, dark fruits, and bready malts. Flavors of plum, raisans, caramel, dark bready malts, bubblegum, and little bit of sweetness in the end. ABV is well hidden. Not to shabby. Nightsky (176) - Lutz, Florida, USA - SEP 22, 2012
Banana aroma with slightly nutty hints. Brown in color and hazy. I taste oats, and nut with an oily palate. Delicious.
