Can thanks to Will. Pours a dark amber with small frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is a strong bready malt and grass and herbs. Medium mouthfeel with strong wheat grass, bready malt and hay. Decent.

Can from Justin D, killing it as always! Pours a medium orange little to no head, malty rustic character, some spicy character to the malt. Full and complex, surprisingly bitter, hints of grass and spice in finish. smith4498 (3670) - Winter Springs, Florida, USA - OCT 11, 2014
Pours clear light amber color with off white head. Aromas of toasted malts, cereal grains. Lightly sweet, toasted malt flavor. Medium body with average carbonation.

Credit where credit is due. Marzen not one of my face styles yet each October I find myself drinking quite a few as it seems like the thing to do. Most have been average at best but this year Sierra Nevada and now cigar city have produced solid marzen outings with just enough of a kick of hops to make it quite enjoyable. Very well done CCB.

After drinking Weizenheimerstamperphaser Oktoberfestbier this one is a giant let down. bkurtz (1126) - LITHUANIA - OCT 1, 2014
Can - Pours a clear copper with fairly large, but quickly dissipating head. Aromas of caramel and bread. Nice mouth feel, biscuity. All good but the finish. McBeastie (16) - Florida, USA - SEP 18, 2014
A really nice marzen. Orange-copper pour. Honey and bread aromas. Sweet and light with more honey and yeast in taste and mild carbonation. Sure, doesn’t set the world on fire, but I think two, three or four of them would go great with a big German dinner of schnitzels and sausages. Getting hungry now. Solid Oktoberfest from CCB. Light bronze pour. Faint bready aroma. Taste is sweet malt and doughy bread up front. This quickly fades into some light hops and a dry finish. Good but needs more malt to really be a great Oktoberfest.
