From the growler. Pours a clear copper with a thin white head. Spicy earthy noble hop aroma. Big malty body, touch of breadiness and noble hop bitterness. Excellent marzen. Jesterdeal (1986) - Marlton, New Jersey, USA - MAR 24, 2012
Aroma of toffee, malts and a nice hickory. Pours bronze with almost no head. Taste is nice and hearty. Great notes of toffee and yeast. Sweeter than your average marzen. daknole (11402) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - SEP 1, 2013
Amber pour in Nebraska. Flavor is sweet, some brown sugar cookies, toasted malt and a nice hint of hops. LuckyDog (615) - - SEP 13, 2014
Very mild. More of a session beer than an Oktoberfest. Very drinkable. Clean. OmegaX (1383) - Florida, USA - MAR 18, 2012
On tap at CCB. Nose is lots of caramel and brady notes with a honey-like sweetness attached to it. The pour produced a nice amber colored body with a sloppy white head. Taste is bready caramel malt with some light honey and fruity esters in the background. I liked the drinkability on this one. A nice brew for sure.

Draft at Cigar City. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a very thin off white head. Minimal lacing. Aroma has lots of toffee malt notes. Flavor has a nice mix of hop bitterness aka malt sweetness with spice notes in the finish. Very easy drinking. Chipalsa (1310) - Florida, USA - APR 12, 2012
A great take on a classic style of beer. The aroma was fresh of dried orange fruit and a gentle, floral hop scent. Flavors were mild at first, but as it warmed up there was light toffee and again, dried citrus. With a hint of hops in the finish, this beer was incredibly drinkable - cheers! zgaier (1964) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - AUG 29, 2013
On tap at World of Beer UCF. Pours a copper orange with a white head and aroma of caramel and malt. Taste is of toasted malt, caramel, bread, hops and honey with a crisp, light sweet finish. For the style, very drinkable. Great Oktoberfest brew from CCB. Ernesto987 (6050) - Arizona, USA - NOV 21, 2014
