On draft at Cigar City, poured a light amber almost orange color, aromas of citrus, light caramel, some light wood, a touch of pine. Flavors are the same decent treatment of the jai alai base, glad this one came back on tap. hivemind (916) - New York, New York, USA - SEP 18, 2012
On cask at Barcade with James and Streets for CCB event 09/11/2012. Overall thought this beer had a muted palate. Very dry citrus, not overtly orange. Hard fruit candy in the aftertaste. I don’t like cask so I’ll give it another try normally. jredmond (8333) - New York, New York, USA - SEP 13, 2012
UPDATED: SEP 14, 2012 Cask at barcade with streets, Paul, Andy and pearl. Pours a deep amber body with no head. Aroma is light citrus, wood and vanilla. Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy with notes of orange, wood, vanilla, cream, light hop and milk chocolate. Nice, but would love to try it off cask. jbruner (4800) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - AUG 4, 2012
Part of IPA day at CCB. Pours a murky copper orange on tap with light white ring of a head and light lacing on the way down. Aroma is sweet on the citrus and woody the back end. The taste is kind of like a creamsicle, orange and vanilla well balanced with a hoppy bite. It’s interesting, very interesting in fact. Not sur how this could ever be 7.5% abv, but it is. markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - AUG 3, 2012
On draft at Cigar City for IPA Day. Pours a hazy orange-yellow with a white head. Nose is caramel, vanilla, wood, and citrus. Flavor is similar- caramel up front and wood and citrus following close behind it. The orange and wood flavors compliment the natural citrus in Jai Alai. Very nice.
