Medium aroma of malts, caramel, fruit, chocolate and roasted malts.

Opaque dark brown/black beer with a slight/medium beige/brown head.

Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel, fruit and chocolate; ends slightly bitter and dry with roasted malts.

This beer is rather intense, complex and balanced. The addition of passion fruit is not distinctly noticeable, but gives a nice fruity addition to this otherwise good, but somewhat standard, porter.

This was a while back. Black color with beige head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, roasted malts, hints of fruit - not sure if I would have recognized Passion Fruit. Taste is chocolate, burnt malts, some tartness. I love Passion Fruit, but it didn’t really come through enough. An awesome Porter nonetheless.

Drank with the tasting 08-05. Nice. Dark porter taste with an aftertaste of fruit. Rich. But too much carbonation that masks the taste.
