Bottle frpm Dranken Geers, Oostaker, nr Gent, Belgium, consumed at Isobels, Eardisley, Herefordshire Tuesday 31st December 2013 (New Years Eve) Brown in colour no head, actually I lie maybe there is a little head. Passion fruit is mellow but integrated and contributing really well here. The beer is a little sour and clearly fruity. Gritty and full flavoured with some fruit soaked spent coffee grains. The aroma is light fruit with a little chocolate and there is a little fruit embeded chocolate in mouth. Good. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6 hopscotch (11113) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - DEC 30, 2013
UPDATED: JAN 1, 2014 Growler... Berliner Bash on the Bay 2013... Clear brown ale with no head. A hempen, dank component accompanies passionfruit and grapefruit aromatics. Medium-bodied with a thin, watery mouthfeel and busy carbonation. Raspy, singed, dank flavor with additional citrus peel tannins and bitterness. Astringent, acrid, dry finish. Bottle at home. It pours jet black with a thick tan head. The nose is tangy fruits, jam, passion fruit, date, roasty and toast. The taste is smooth roast, toast, fruity tanginess, date, prune, date, jam and mild acidity with a bitter-sweet finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Well rounded and rather drinkable. Very tasty.

Draft at Køge Øldag. Black with a beige head. Aroma and flavour of roasted malt, alcohol, licorice, fruit, hops, coffee, chocolate and oak. erickok (6037) - Leuven, BELGIUM - DEC 4, 2013
Farm bodied, Pours well. Very fruity appeal, but more like yeasty fruity than a passion fruit aroma than I expected. Smooth dark malts, cake and a bit of toffee. Fairly sweet, balancing bitterness throughout, well developed, not as extreme as expected. Smooth drinkable body, well made for sure. Nice brew and surprisingly reasonably priced. Still wondering where the copious amounts of passion (fruit) went though. (75cl bottle from Dranken Geers) PotjeBier (3350) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - NOV 27, 2013
On tap @ Beer Temple. Black color. Thick beige head. Aroma’s: roasted malts, sour fruit, somewhat sweet, hints of soy sauce. Retronasal it’s somewhat sweet, sourish, roasted, a bit plastic. Flavor is light sweet, hints of sour fruit, light bitter. Medium bodied. Finishes with heavy roast, ashy, bitter. Nice, but could have used a bit more fruit. olliejobbins (1578) - Dorking, Surrey, ENGLAND - NOV 27, 2013
Big bottle (750ml I think) at Brewdog Newcastle. Pours a very dark brown almost black with thick tanned head. Aroma is of coffee and chocolate. Very malty. Nice smooth taste with a hint of alcohol. Was perhaps drunk when a little too cold. Sweet finish.
