Bottle. Thanks to Dorthe and Reuben for this bottle. Dark brown colour with a huge lacing tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate and some fruits. Taste of coffee, chocolate, fruits, roasted malt, caramel notes. Nice mouthfeel. The finish begins with a bit sweetness and ends with a nice long bitterness. 75 cl bottle @ home. Pours dark brown (same colour as cola basically) with some sediment and a huge off-white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is sweet with hints of brown sugar, fruit, roasted malt, and chocolate. Flavour is much like the aroma – with a slightly bitter finish. rosenbergh (11809) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 5, 2013

Black colour with a small creamy tan head.
Tosted malt, cookies, fresh passion fruit, sweet fruitiness and liquorice in the aroma.
The flavour is... roasted malt, strong fruity hoppiness, bitterness and mild liquorice.
Thin. That’s what it is. The aroma is incredibly fresh and fruity. Some bitterness in the aftertaste. Nice. Hmm... I’m a bit disappointed.
Bottle from Brewdog Birmingham; dark brown pour with frothy white head, passion fruit comes through in the aroma, but doesn’t come through in the taste mostly reveals a decent porter sweet, coffee and some dark fruits. tderoeck (10195) - Gent, BELGIUM - AUG 27, 2013

Draught @ Fermentoren, Halmtorvet 29 c, Copenhagen, Denmark 1700.
Unclear dark black brown colour with a average, creamy to frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is light heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, passion fruit, moderate hoppy, grass. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, passion fruit, tart fruit, chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Poured dark brown with a huge frothy beige head. Aroma of sweet molasses over tropical fruit, roast malt. Medium body, flavour of vanilla smoothness, sweet fruit and a lingering bitter sweet end. Beersiveknown (5302) - NORTHERN IRELAND - AUG 24, 2013
Bottle at home from aleselaSlackerMads (3523) - DENMARK - AUG 23, 2013
Thick dark brown with amber tinged head. Tart raspberry and chocolate on the nose. Sweet chocolate, full body, passion fruit fruitiness, medium carbonation, rich and quaffable.
Comes slowly crawling out of the bottle and the first pour results in noting but thick, creamy beige foam. The beer is pitch black and smells like bitter chocolate, roasted malt and passion fruit. The flavour is dominated by roasted/burnt/ash notes at first with late fruity notes. Roasted bitterness, dry, and light acidic towards the finish. A bit special without being too strange and flavourwise has a lot to offer for 6%. A bit too high on carbonation, though. BenH (3434) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 20, 2013
Bottle, thanks Niall. Black with tan head. Lots of passion fruit in the aroma, also quite roasty. Taste is more roasty and less passikn fruit, something burnt. Decent body. Nice
