On draft at Cigar City, poured an amazing red/pink color with a soapy white head. Aromas of tart fruit, rhubarb, and more fruit. Flavors are tart fruit, acid, rhubarb, and a smidge of sweet fruit. Real nice beer, I second the kudos to Ben comment, real nice beer, sucks that they won’t growler this one. pari6819 (55) - Florida, USA - MAR 22, 2012
I am not a fan of Berliner Weisse offerings per se, however this particular one was amazing. It was refreshing, balanced, and tart. It was not over powered by sour notes, rather it offered a unique balance that allowed the prickly pear flavor to flourish very forward in its profile. This is one Berliner that I would love to enjoy time and time again without any trepidations! Wish I could get a growler of it! markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - MAR 22, 2012
On draft at CCB. Yowza! Pours a beautiful shade of orange-red with some red highlights. Nose is a blend of prickly pear, acid, and some light straw, and some tart fruit. Flavor is similar- the prickly and tart citrus is a toned down a hair and the fruit has a bit more room to shine. Palate blends all of the flavors very well. Not overly tart, but a well-blended fruit berliner. It is excellent! OmegaX (1374) - Florida, USA - MAR 18, 2012
Tap at CCB. I love the color on this one. The body is a dark pink/reddish hue that just looks insane. Off-white head with good lacing. The aroma is funky with some light guava and an off smell. Honestly, this one smelled like vomit/bile after a good while pondering what else was present besides the tropical, sour fruit aromas. The taste was nothing short of biting into a fresh prickly pear fruit (cactus fruit for those that might not know). If you’ve never had one before then you should go to your nearest decent grocer and buy one to really appreciate just how well this brew has taken on the flavor of prickly pears. Awesome. Light, tart, funky, full of fruit and finishes with a hefty dose of bran or cereal notes. I really liked this one other than the aroma which wasn’t terrible by any means. Good stuff. tricyclist (1125) - Florida, USA - MAR 23, 2012
Another awesome Berliner from CCB. Beautiful color and appearance. Hazy ruby red color with a fantastic nose of light tartness and prickly Lear. Very noticeable fruit up front on the flavor with citrus notes and tartness. Light grassiness follows with barnyard notes. Body is light to medium and lingers lightly. A great Berliner, that I can happily say is from Tampa.

The best thing about this brew was the hazy ruby body. Among that was the strange aroma... it was like pears and bile! As it warmed up there was a slight fruit-punch flavor mixed in the with the sour esters. Not bad and at 4% a very drinkable brew. drowland (8629) - Georgia, USA - JUN 16, 2012
6/16/12. On tap at the Cajun Sourfest. Nice pinkish pour with a small head. Light aroma with definite prickly pear and just a touch of funk. Light grainy flavor with plenty of prickly pear. Not bad. jcartamdg (3407) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 28, 2012
