Review from notes taken at Cigar City Brewing taproom on 7/15/12. Poured on draft into a Cigar City shaker pint glass.
Appearance: Pours a hazy medium golden-brown with a 3 finger foamy off-white head. Excellent head retention and lacing.
Smell: Lemon zest, pale malt and grapefruit.
Taste: Honey and bitter grassy hops throughout. Bitter aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied with a low amount of carbonation.
Drinkability: Good drinkability. You could have a few without any trouble.
Overall: Very good beer overall. A well-balanced American pale ale. This one is definitely worth a try. maekchu (3911) - Hirakata, JAPAN - AUG 9, 2012
On tap at the brewery. Big citrus (grapefruit) and mango nose. Cloudy straw. Explodes with fruit flavors. Bitterness jumps out in mid palate. Final sweetness fades slowly. Thin-medium body. Wow! A lot packed into this one, but it’s not overdone. markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - JUL 13, 2012
On draft at Cigar City. Pours a hazy orange with a white head. Nose is grassy, floral, and citrus hops. Flavor is similar- nice malt behind the grassy and floral hops. Medium in body and a solid pale overall. Suttree (6385) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 2, 2012
Very enjoyable. Obviously unfiltered, with some lightly sweet yeasty aromas at first, then a nice hop nose. Flavor is lightly sweet, crisp citrus, a messy finish. Pretty good stuff... burg326 (5482) - Florida, USA - JUL 11, 2012
On draft at Cigar City, poured a darker orange color, aromas of floral hops, light citrus, and some orange peel. Flavor is the same with some sweet/bitterness in the aftertaste, interesting overall.

@Whole Foods Sand Lake, thanks Tommy-on tap-pours hazy gold/orange with an offwhite head. Aroma is banana, grain. As it warms, pine. Taste is pine/grassy hops with a little tingle on the tongue, grain, light malt. Nice session APA. Dogbrick (13010) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - AUG 21, 2012
Sample at the tap room. The beer is a murky orange color with a minimal white head that recedes to an outer ring quickly. Spots of lacing here and there. The aroma consists of hops, sweet malt and fruit. Light to medium body with flavors of citrusy hops, grainy malt and pine. The finish is hoppy with a mildly bitter aftertaste. Decent overall. On tap at the brewery. Nose is floral with tons of orange essence and other citrus elements. Lemon and tangerine come to mind. Pour is light orange and hazy with a white head. Taste is sweet citrus upfront with some grassy hops and a lightly bitter finish. A good drinker. DialSquare (5029) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 21, 2012
On tap at Proof. Rating after the fact - slight head with orange pour. Citrus hop aroma. Sweet caramel, grain and orange in the taste. Drinkable. All I remember other than the score... Stldsf1 (616) - Florida, USA - JUL 28, 2012
