Strawberry lager. This beer tastes an awful lot like strawberry shortcake, which is a good thing considering its name.

22 oz bottle. Entering from old notes. Pours a clear straw golden color and topped by a small layer of off white foam that settles quickly to a thin film. The aroma shows notes of sweet, strawberries, vanilla, toasted biscuit malts, and a touch of clean cereal grains. The flavor follows suit and shows more of the strawberries, toasted biscuit malts, and vanilla cream to give that shortcake type flavor and finished by the clean grains, lager yeast, and a touch of hop bitterness. Medium bodied with ample carbonation that leads to a crisp, dry finish with lingering notes of strawberries and vanilla. Crisp and refreshing lager that brings a nice sweetness from strawberries. Interesting beer.

bomber shared and it poured a yellow color with white head. the aroma of biscuit and strawberry. most the strawberry beers I have had before have been cloyingly sweet but this one wasn’t nice overall flavor of strawberry and biscuit malt giving you the shortcake. overall its quite drinkable and enjoyable.

Bottle. Pours a golden yellow. Aroma and taste are sweet strawberries and biscuit.

Surprisingly good- very light and not cloyingly sweet. None of that dirty flavor that tends to happen when fruits are added to light beers. Very well balanced and still easy to drink.

Bomber bought in Florida. Strawberry aroma with notes of sweet cream and a bit of hay maltiness underneath. Pours pale golden colored with a thin white head that has some retention and good lacing. Starts with sweet strawberry flavors with a bit of hay maltiness to go with a lively mouthfeel. Finishes smooth with a lot of sweet creamy sugary flavor. Pretty nice, maybe a touch too sweet at the end but overall quite good.

Bottle from the brewery. Slightly hazy gold color with a small white head and lively carbonation. Light aroma of fresh strawberries. Flavor definitely brings in the cream but the strawberries are there too. You can still taste the pleasant base beer too. Very nice.

Bottle: Poured a straw yellow color ale with a nice foamy head. Aroma of strawberry shortcake with some light vanilla notes. Taste is also a mix of sugary notes of strawberry notes with some vanilla notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Weird and not sure these are all natural flavours – not something I would have on a regular basis but glad I tried it.

Strawberry nose with a straw yellow color. Taste is tart berry followed by a vanilla flavor on the back of the tongue. Strawberries taste like fresh ones vs a concentrate. Too sweet for everyday drinking but a nice treat for dessert.

Strong strawberry nose with hay underneath. Clear golden, medium head, decent lace. Strawberry and hay, more equal proportions. Medium body, easy carbonation. Base beer seems to be pretty nice. I think I’d prefer this without the fruit.
