This Tampa-style Lager is inspired by the traditional German-style Helles, which translates to “light colored.” Perfect for the Florida heat, it’s a beer that’s made for drinkin’ when it’s truly hotter than helles outside

(Keg at Sori Taproom, 20171212) The beer poured pale golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had sweetness and butter. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, butter, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. A weakish sweet brew.

Tap at Sori Taproom, Helsinki. Color is clear golden with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Some fruits, grain, sweetness and malts. Quite bad actually.

330ml can (Alus Celle, Riga) (4:2:5:3:10=2.4)

Very macro bland sweetish pale lager aroma. Better taste, more character both from malts and from hops, Plenty of noble hop bitterness. Well, it's a lager, and it's not nasty, or even particularly dull, but doesn't grab a real-ale drinker like me.

wombat23 (1830) - Texas, USA - NOV 4, 2017
Shared 12 oz. can. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma of apple juice, grains and hay. Taste is apple juice, cracker, lemon notes. Finish is mildly sour. Okay.

darbeer75 (1045) - Round Rock, Texas, USA - NOV 4, 2017
Aroma: dry and lightly skunky; Appearance: clear yellow pour with lots of carbonation; Taste: sweet, apple-juice with dry finish; Palate: light bodied with short finish; Overall: okay. Wouldn't seek out again.

borre_m (1727) - NORWAY - OCT 28, 2017
Pours clear light golden. Aroma is malty, balanced with hops. Taste is light, crisp, very noice lager.

ganache (6065) - New Jersey, USA - OCT 24, 2017
Can from WW. Nose lightly sweet grass and malt, hint of darker pretzel. Pour just slightly hazy yellow-golden with a soapy bright white head. Taste lightly minerally, good malt, noble hops, touch of grass, touch of green, splash of citrus, bready-crackery finish. Smooth and clearly defined. Body is full and probably could use a touch more carbonation, but otherwise this is right on target. [2017.10.24: 3.4]
