COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Tampa-style Lager is inspired by the traditional German-style Helles, which translates to “light colored.” Perfect for the Florida heat, it’s a beer that’s made for drinkin’ when it’s truly hotter than helles outside

Lots of malt. Hint of honey. Slightly hazy pale yellow. Bright white thin head with little retention. Fairly malty. Just a bit of skunk. Medium to light bodied. Not bad. Just a plain old lager.

Pale yellow pour, thin white head. Nose is malt. Middle is mild malt with a hint of fresh apple, some hay, and some mild earthy hops. Finish leans dry. Not spectacular, but not bad.

Pours a very light gold, frothy eggshell head. Nose is sweet grain. Very crisp and clean. Light malts, sweet, grass. Very straightforward and easy. Good for the style.

(Tap) clear, bright, very pale yellow colour with a small white head; aroma starts with lilies, then hint of sournes; creamy palate; balanced flavour with a long, very light bitter finish; good for style

Can at home grabbbed from Publix the last brew I’ve got. Dirty gold pour. Nose is odd herbs and citrus. Tastes of some candy, herbal, orange, banana, little garbage juice. Light bodied some hops. Light sweetness. Not great.

12 ounce can from Beer Run. Hazy yellow, large fizzy white head, good retention. Aroma of lime and bready malt. The taste matches. Thin.

Can from Trader Joe's. Golden colour. Just a thin head. Moderately malty aroma - sort of heavier pale malts. This has some acidity on the palate - I guess that grainy sort of macrobrew acidity, like they got Yuengling to brew this or something. Pretty full body. I can see the helles inspiration here. Low bitterness, but some, like around 20, and that's just enough that it doesn't taste like candy. I don't think you go ga-ga for a beer like this, but it's not bad.

Can pours clear yellow with a small white head. Aroma is soft grain, honey, floral notes. The flavor is nice, smooth, grainy and floral. Lighter feel, crisp. Good for the style.

Pours clear pale yellow with a thick and frothy snow-white head. Aroma offers fresh malt and wan fruity notes, rather like a mega-brew. Flavor is fuller, crisp malt and a little tart apple. Mouthfeel features OK body and fair fizz. This could be a good brew to start weaning people off macro-brewed swill.

Can. Pours light gold with a white head.Light homey, popcorn aroma. Light body, full carb. Corn, light lemon, straw, light honey... Bland, not my thing.
