Thanks yet again to the uber-generous Tampa Crew! Can’t believe how many they shared with us. A vigorous brown pour, slight sediment and abundant carbonation. Sort of a hot chocolate thing happening in the nose, very inviting and distinct from CCB’s other brownish brews. Smooth lactic mouthfeel, slight dry notes in the finish. Enjoyed this one. kiefdog (1826) - Tampa, Florida, USA - FEB 21, 2010
Sample at CCB. Pours a reddish brown with a thin off white head. Aroma is sweet and roasty with notes of chocolate, coffee, light toffee, hints of vanilla, hints of fruit. Flavor is about the same with stronger roast and vanilla notes. Medium body with a roasted malt finish. Interesting blend!

Pours a copper brown with a light tan head. Nose is overpowered by cedar and wood, big spicy character, juniper quality. Flavor is all cedar and wood. Did not care for. markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - FEB 15, 2010
Got to try this one at the brewery a long time ago, and kept the notes for when they released it commercially. Thanks, Doug! Pours a dark Maduro brown with an off-white head. Nose is roast, vanilla, coffee, a bit of fruit, and some tea-esque earthiness. Flavor is Maduro, but it is like a blend of Mocha Cubano, Vanilla Maduro, some East India Trader, and maybe some fruit to it. Medium-bodied and complex... how many beers are in this blend? Interesting. ucusty (2691) - raleigh, North Carolina, USA - FEB 14, 2010
Thanks to the Tampa Crew for sharing. Brown pour with a frothy tan head. Aroma is dominated by coffee and vanilla. Body is creamy. Chocolate and coffee upfront. Dry vanilla finish

A: Pours a nice nutty brown with a small cream colored head. Little retention with spotty lace.
S: Nice and roasty, coffee forward. Some vanilla can be picked up as well.
T: Lots of espresso maduro in this one. It dominates but there are notes of chocolate, vanilla beans, and even some chai tea maybe?
M: Medium in body, smooth, creamy, perfect carbonation.
D: Good, I really like this blend. Too bad it will never be made again.
