On draft at Hunahpu Day 2012. After 2011 Hunahpu Day, I really loved Grandma’s Funky Sour Berry, so I sought the one that had the weirdest title. This one was a bit hard to peg, but ok in the end. Pours a hazy brown with an off-white head. Nose is chocolate, cocoa, sweetness, a hint of cherry, and some butterscotch. Flavor is similar- a lot going on, but I am not sure it is a harmonious blend. One to ponder; I think I want to have it again, to be sure. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - MAR 12, 2012
Cloudy brown pour, light tan head. Aroma of cherry, chocolate, light espresso, some peaty notes. Flavor is a bit watery than expected with very light cocoa, cherry and bready notes. burg326 (5482) - Florida, USA - MAR 11, 2012
Pours a muddy hazy brown color, aromas of sugar, tart cherries, and some butterscotch. Flavor is the same, almost a mixture of those toffee candies your grandma always had laying around with some cherrys. Real sugary taste throughout.
