On tap at The Brass Tap @ Cigar City Night. Pours a glass staining black with frothy near black head. Nose is sweet roasted malts, hug coffee, molasses, wood, vanilla and some fruit lingering around, mild floral notes. Flavor is out of this world!!! Giant roast, dark fruits, huge espresso notes, earthy fresh wood, chocolate bunnies, pure vanilla bean, mild smoke, warming alcohol and cherries. Joe had mentioned there was some sort of fruit, maybe scuppernong, maybe elderberries. There are very faint hints of fruit hanging around. This beer is epic! I hope this goes into rotation. On tap at Brass Tap in Wesley Chapel, FL. Pours very dark with dark mocha bumpy lumpy lace clinging head. The aroma is full of dark roasted coffee, dark roasted malts, some burnt malts, chocolate, a touch of vanilla and chocolate malt balls. The taste begins silky smooth and with a bit dark chocolate velvety qualities bleeding into burnt malts and dark roasted coffee. Midway soft notes of oak, vanilla and a hint of sweet dark berries takes this to the finish as well as offering up lingering chocolate, coffee and burnt malt notes going days into the after taste. Thanks to Tim for the sample at the brewery.
A: Pours a nice dark black with a tall mocha head. Nice retention and lace.
S: Aromas of fudge, roasty malt, oak, and coffee.
T: Tasty brew. Lots of chocolate and roasted malt up front. The coffee is bold without being acidic. The oak plays in near the finish, sort of roasty and smokey.
M: Full bodied, smooth with good carbonation.
D: Good, I love me some coffee, and this is a solid one.

On draft at Brass Tap’s Cigar City Night, Wed. Nov 25th. This beer is a phenomenon! Pours dark imperial stout badass black with a dark tan head and a ton of lace that is not yellow, but brown. Nose on this behemoth is coffee, roast, burn, vanilla, all manner of chocolate, and the love a parent gives a child. Flavor is stellar: a ton of roasted coffee, along with roast and coffee. Subtle vanilla, oak character, and earthy qualities combine to make this beer a force of creation. Thick mouthfeel and lingering roast finish out this intense stout.
