Tap. Pours hazy butterscotch, medium white head, creamy with nice lacing. Aroma is muted citrus, grapefruit, passionfruit. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter, stone fruit, citrus, touch of pine, some floral notes. Medium body, silky mouthfeel. A bit out of the ordinary, but solid. vandc01 (436) - North Branch, USA - DEC 8, 2014
On tap at the Tampa Bat airport.
Aroma - nice tropical notes.
Appearance - gold color with a nice fluffy head.
Palate - nice lingering aftertaste.
Overall - another great cigar city beer. Very solid. PartyFowle (954) - - SEP 30, 2014
A pale ale brewed at and for the Tampa airport. Hmm. Poured in a shaker pint. Perfectly clear honey hue. One finger head of silky, wispy white deposits nice webbed lacing. If there isn’t cedar in here somewhere, I’ll give up my Cicerone certification. The spicy wood is all over the aroma, and the flavor is like licking a log of the stuff. Black pepper in the nose. A splash of mandarin in the flavor. Some tropical notes as well, mango mixed with white pepper. Odd and good. Fairly viscous medium body, prickly carbonation. Clean, crisp.
Thoroughly enjoyable, complex and unique. DocJitsu (2025) - Pensacola, Florida, USA - SEP 16, 2014
Pours a mildly murky dolfen with a short white head. Citrus nose. Citrusy, yet has a competing Czech pilsner bitterness. jkwalking05 (4743) - Arlington, Texas, USA - SEP 15, 2014
On tap at the brewery. Gold with a light haze and a decent off-white head. Aroma is of grapefruit, pepper, pine, and light dank notes. Taste is of pine, dank hops, light onion, bitter florals, grapefruit, and light grass.

Growler from the brewery. Unclear yellow body with a medium white head. Pineapple, citrus, spruces, light malty, crispy. Delicious pale ale. theisti (4179) - Kansas, USA - JUN 27, 2014
Shaker pint draft at the Cigar City Airport Pub in Tampa, Florida. The pour is a hazed yellow golden with a smallish white head. The aroma is a touch of grassy hops along with a bit of fresh citrus and cracker malt. The taste is the cracker malt first which has some dirty beer lines to it and then the hops, dry and grassy carry the back. The dirtiness did clear a bit after the initial sips. The palate is light bodied with active fine carbonation and a clean finish. Solid Pale Ale. TXBadger (2811) - Dallas, Texas, USA - MAY 27, 2014
Pours a golden color with white head. Pine, grapefruit, and some grassy notes on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a nice hop bite. Jblauvs (1358) - Chester, Vermont, USA - MAY 2, 2014
Slightly hazy brass pour with a frothy white head. Aroma is dank, citrusy hops means some light crackers malt. Flavor is honeydew, grapefruit, orange peel. Mildly bitter, dry finish. Pretty neutral base malt, sticky dank tropical hoppiness. Very Pleasant. Ferris (16300) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 1, 2014
Draft - Grapefruit and cedar. Clear gold with a thin head. Cedar, pine and a nice woody bitterness. The first cedar hoppy beer that is any good. I like it.
