Great nose and flavor. Could not tell it was a double until I looked it up. Add this one to your list of beers to try. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From notes, consumed on 3/25/13 at ChurchKey during CBC Week. Draft poured into a tasting snifter. Pours an amber color with a finger of off-white head. Aromas of grapefruit, floral notes, pine. Tasting notes of big citrus including grapefruit, pine/resin, floral notes, light spice, big hops. Medium body with a semi-dry finish.

On draft at Cigar City. Pours a hazy yellow-gold with a white head. Nose is some sweet malt with huge grapefruit and bitter citrus flavors. Flavor is malty sweetness balanced with a huge grapefruit and sweet citrus punch. Medium in body and almost no booze in the finish. Outstanding double IPA overall.

Orange pour with creamy white head and lace. Large citrus/resiny hop aroma. Large citrus, sweet caramel malt, bread, with a well balanced bitter and nice warmth. Medium body with good carbonation.,

Clear amber pour with a white head. On tap the Coffee District. Fruity hop aromas. Tropical fruit and sweet caramel malt notes. Great balance. Being a big fan of more malty DIPAs, this is right up my alley. Great mouthfeel, great body, perfect carbonation.

Pours a hazy golden brown on tap with fluffy white head and moderate lacing. Aroma of citrus and pine resins from the hops, slight earthy notes. Taste follows with a great bitter finish that lingers for a good amount. Alcohol well hidden, really easy to drink; damn good.

burg326 (5482) - Florida, USA - FEB 3, 2013
On draft at Cigar City, poured a light dark orange color with aromas of huge grapefruit, and citrus with some light malt. Flavors are huge on the citrus and grapefruit. Unbelievably drinkable with such the high abv, really nice beer, I wish they had this on year round.

At the CCB source on Hunahpu Eve. CCB snifter. Pours clear copper with one finger head. Aroma is huge caramel grapefruit. Very sweet smelling. Very earthy hop flavor with some lingering passion fruit flavor. Huge huge raw hop flavor here, but not supremely bitter. Medium and slick mouthfeel with low to medium carbonation. Very good.
