Unpleasant, kind of like a muddled scottish ale or nutty brown ale with a weird lactic tartness that didn’t mesh well for me at all. Not a fan.
Amber pour, very small light head. This beer is something incredibly unique. It really tastes like a tart, lemony tea with a beer flavor in the background. Quite unique. I would like to see more beers like this made. Ibrew2or3 (8614) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - APR 19, 2014
Growler (consumed about two months ago) pours with a clear amber looking body that supports a light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up a steam beer sort of yeastiness along with light notes of caramel malts, malts and mild fruity esters. The taste stars with some malty sweetness and a bit of caramel malts that quickly moves into layers of tartness mixed with yeasty notes and light skin sweet fruity esters. Interesting. mike5326 (1754) - virginia beach, Virginia, USA - FEB 5, 2014
Poured from a tap. Light brown color, medium frothy off white head. Light sour mash smell. Nice tart and sour flavor with a good bread like finish.

Hazy dark amber. Nose is pretty faint but has a bit of tangy mango and mild dark malts. Flavor is almost tangy sour with a bit of sharp fruitiness, a little mango and apricot, toast and darkish maltiness. Interesting and surprising. Dry and tart.

On draft at the brewery. Pours a deep amber-brown with an off-white head. Nose is some malt, some vinegar, some lactic, and some earth. Flavor is similar with malt, vinegar, lactic, and earth. A light malt presence and a bit of sourness. Aside from the color, it was everything I expected from the style and one that I would try again. Light to medium in body and lingering lactic on the back end. stevencon (522) - Sarasota, Florida, USA - DEC 30, 2013
Tap at CCB. Light cloudy brown white head. Light chocolate notes with small sour vinegar aroma. Malt vinegar with chocolate and roast. Sour lingers a bit. Never gets super sour but enjoyable. GT (10000) - San Diego, California, USA - DEC 29, 2013
Tap at CCB. Pours a clear brown with minimal white foam. Nose is sweet cola, cherry juice box. Taste is really bizarre but I kind of like it as a dark sour lover: lemonade, almost pure Berliner Weisse betraying its dark color. Flashes of blueberries and cream. Palate has a Rodenbach type of sweet and sour play with a lactic, sour mash mouthfeel. Very interesting, and drinkable. Just oddball for sure. k0mpsa (2964) - Tuusula, FINLAND - DEC 28, 2013
Tap at ccb, tampa. Little hazy dark brown color, white head. Aroma is sweet, berries, wood. Taste is berries, something sour, light body.
