Malty and a little nutty. Good drinkable beer. Dark pour, light head. Slightly bitter aftertaste. Dogbrick (14009) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 27, 2014
Sample at the tap room. Murky dark brown color with some red around the edges and a medium light beige head that recedes steadily to a film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, vanilla and fruit. Medium-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, red fruits and vanilla. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Above average overall. djd07 (15704) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUL 7, 2014
Crowler thanks to Matt. Pours a cloudy brown and ruby hue with small beige head. Aroma is molasses and grain. Thin mouthfeel with sweet roast, raisin, molasses. Easy to drink, very nice alt. AndyW68 (1632) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - JUN 29, 2014
Very good. Dark, nearly black pour with light tan head. Aroma is sweet molasses and vanilla. Taste follows nose. Sticky sweet a roast malt finish. OmegaX (1383) - Florida, USA - JUN 23, 2014
On tap at Ccb. Nose is light citrus hops, brown sugar, nuts, molasses. Flavor is similar. Some soy sauce on there. Not bad.

Growler from the brewery. Pours thick and reddish black with a thick tan head. Chocolate, roasted grain and hints of soy sauce in aroma. Taste is thick body malt, chewy chocolate and dark grain with a slight bitter finish. Not sure if it is close to style, but a unique beer. wisdomsolo (472) - St Petersburg, Florida, USA - JUN 8, 2014
Had it at a tasting. Had a great time and drank some awesome beers with some pretty fantastic people. Don’t remember anything about this beer. fluffy (2461) - St Petersburg, Florida, USA - JUN 8, 2014
a sort of catch all style, it was a decent example all the same. pretty decent albeit forgettable. burg326 (5621) - Florida, USA - MAY 26, 2014
Poured dark brown with aromas of toast, burnt nuts and some roasted maot. Flavors are the same light booze in aftertaste. Not my thing overall but ok.
