On tap at the Blind Tiger during their Cigar City event. Pours a very lightly hazed orange with a medium sized white head. Juniper, resinous, musky and dank smelling. Big candied hop flavors, sweet malt. Long grapefruit on the finish. hopdog (12816) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 13, 2010
Thanks Josh for sharing this growler. Poured an amber color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of woodiness, toasty, floral, earthy, and tropical fruitiness. Tastes of the same fruitiness, caramel, vanilla, wood, and coconut. hopscotch (11175) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - SEP 27, 2010
UPDATED: AUG 20, 2011 Draft… CCB Fruit in the Room 2010... This beer rocks!… pours orange with a mid-sized, fizzy, white head. Like the white oak treatment, the aroma is heavy with freshly cut oak and spruce, but this version is more fruity than the white oak, which is pretty fruity in its own right - mango, papaya, pineapple and nectarine. Medium to full-bodied with a lightly creamy mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. The flavor offers toffee, earthy and citrusy hop bitterness and tropical fruits. Finishes spicy, fruity and mildly bitter. The addition of tropical fruit takes nothing away from the greatness of White Oak. I have no idea what tropical fruits this beer is aged with, but they work well. Wayne’s gonna end up turning me into an IPA guy if I’m not careful. World class brew! daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - MAY 2, 2013
Gold pour, white head. Flavors of citrus, mango, guava, pineapple, lychee, light grassy notes. Really good. sebletitje (10220) - Enghien, BELGIUM - SEP 17, 2012
Entering old rates. Draft @ CCB Fruit in the Room.

On tap at Fruit in the Room at Cigar City Brewing. Pours murky copper with gold edges and tan head. The aroma is softer and milder than the bottle version of White Oak with hints of sweet tropical fruit wafting upward amid modest notes of spicy oak, citrus hops and a sense of pine hops. The taste is similar where the spicy oak is less forward than in the White Oak version interlaced with thin ribbons of citrus hops and sweet tropical notes. It ends both sweet with tropical-citrus and spicy with oak creating a pleasing palate and balance. egajdzis (6672) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 13, 2010
Lightly hazy dark golden with a small, white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, light pine, citrus, toast, and tropical fruits. Taste of citrus, light toffee, oak, citrus, tropical fruits, and a grapefruit finish. burg326 (5569) - Florida, USA - AUG 21, 2011
On draft for Fruit in the Room, poured a hazy golden orange with little head. Aromas of tropical fruits, mango, pieapple, oak, and hops. Tasted like the white oak ipa with tropical fruit. Delivered what it promised. Rciesla (5499) - Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA - MAY 5, 2011
Draft. Pours a hazy golden body with a bubbly head. Nice hoppy tones, citrus and grass y notes. Light pineapple sweetness really compliments the spicy wood tones quite well. Grapefruit and a fresh wooden undertone. Grass bitterness and a hint of apricots to finish. Great stuff. markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - OCT 2, 2010
I really liked this one, and thought it was a CCB standout at Fruit in the Room. Pours typical Jai Alai color with an off-white head. Nose is malt, caramel, slight coconut, apricot, kumquat, and all manner of citrus and tropical fruit. Flavor is similar with all kinds of fruit complimenting the flavor of the oak and the citrus quality in the IPA. Very nice.
