Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, chocolate, nutty notes, a danish candy called "laberlaver og de orange stykke i en pose lakridskonfekt". Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, a danish candy called "laberlaver og de orange stykke i en pose lakridskonfekt". Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.

Medium body, sweet vanilla beans - like the orange Malaco licorice allsorts. Roasted malts and nuts. Rather subdued bitterness. Keg at the CCB tasting room. Pours clear brown with a tight, creamy beige head. Some vanilla beans in the nose, well toasted bread. Medium sweet flavor with mellow cocoa, vanilla pods, slight leafy bitterness, grainy bread. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, some vanilla syrup, toasted bread, light toffee. Dark amber to brown color; clear. Aroma of caramel and vanilla candies. Vanilla chocolate flavor, some roasted malts, smooth mouthfeel. Not impressive.

Hazy brown color. The aroma is quite dusty. Caramel flavor, dry initially, more full bodied later. Correct bitterness, no vanilla. Good Brown Ale, nothing special.

Taste comprises vanilla, chocolate, toffee, light biscuit crumbkle, malt.
Medium bodied, smooth on the palate, soft mouthfeel.

Draught at Pony Bar, NYC. Amber/brown beer with a nice beige head. Vanilla flavor, chocolate, cocoa, fruity, grapes, hay, roasted, milk chocolate, figs, dades. Vanilla flavor, dades, cream, woody notes, banana, pine apple, bready. Sweet but still very nice.
