Thanks Craig. This was a real treat. Malty, warming, raisin, rich brandy, soft chocolate. A tasty warming beer on a cold December night. Ricoslim (116) - - MAR 11, 2014
One of the better beers I had at Hunahpu Day 2014. Poured a dark brown. The aroma was intense. The apple brandy and caramel stood out the most in the aroma and the palate. Carbonation was light, but I think that worked well for the beer. If you like apple brandy this is right up your alley. Sledutah (7727) - Utah, USA - DEC 16, 2013

Dark brown, no head or lacing. Aroma of toasted malts, bourbon, woody and vanilla. Flavors of roasted malts, bourbon, vanilla, woody and soy sauce
Very nice and tasty.
Draft at Hunaphu Day. Deep brown pour with a tan head. Sweet caramel, toffee, good Brandy aspects, dried fruits and booze. Flavor is sweet caramelized apples, toffee, caramel and dried fruits. Big sweet body and noticeable alcohol. Need this in 30 degrees not 80. mwbrady12 (469) - Orlando, Florida, USA - MAR 9, 2013
Mild aroma leads to a wild taste of apple and sweet alcohol with a thin black pour and warm mouthfeel.

Sample pour of deep dark murky with no head. Nose is booze and sweet fruit, dried fruit, caramel, and malt. Flavor follows with plenty of booze, caramel and loads of dark dried fruit. Not bad, but not a favorite mixmasterob (1057) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - FEB 25, 2013
Brewvival 2013. This one seemed like it was on all day. Awesome stuff. Huge bourbon in the nose, hints of sweet cherry, booze soaked raisins and other dark fruits. Sweet caramel, toffee and buttered pecans. Big mouthfeel, viscous with light carbonation. I had a few of these through the course of the day. Excellent. Brewvival Trip Beer 94. Draft at Brewvival. Pours a hazy copper color with a thin creamy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of big wood and whisky notes, toffee, caramel, herbal hops. The taste is toffee, wood, apples, mild earthiness. Medium bodied. Huhzubendah (3709) - Washington DC, USA - DEC 29, 2012
On draft at Churchkey in D.C.
The beer is russet brown with some crimson / auburn tones. Virtually no head. What is there fades quickly, leaving just a few traces of lacing. The aroma brings raisins, booze, apples, brandy, malt. Very sweet and complex. Apple brandy barrels shine through in both the flavor and aroma. Moderately low carbonation. Lingering booze and sweetness. This would be a fine choice for splitting with a few friends by the fireplace on a cold winter night.
