The White Oak adds a great sweetish flavor with true hints of Vanilla. So smooth. This really adds to the already great Jai Alai. Somewhat sweeter that the original and not near as bitter. One of the best IPA's I've ever had. Can't wait to get my hands on this one again.

Poured from the tap into a pint glass at the Crystal Beer Palace in Savannah. The appearance is a deep gold color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is full of fruit, hops and some oak. The taste is big on fruit with a noticeable touch of oak. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JUL 8, 2010
Gold pour. Tons of tropical fruit, raw wood, citrus hops, honey and more. Flavor has a ton of fresh cut wood, citrus, pineapple and a really interesting finish: a dill note. Great beer! hopscotch (11101) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - SEP 27, 2010
Bottle… This beer rocks!… Hazy orange ale with a huge, frothy, white head. Fantastic retention. The aroma blows me away – freshly cut firewood, tropical fruit medley, spruce and nectarine. I didn’t think I could like the aroma of any other treatment of Jai Alai more than that of the Humidor IPA but now I do. Medium to full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Bittersweet, fruity, spicy flavor and finish. World class beer! mlunger12 (645) - Orlando, Florida, USA - NOV 24, 2010
Wow, great stuff. Pours a deep orange, cloudy. I actually had a bit of sediment on the bottom of the bottle. Great head and retention. Taste is a little subdued hops, very viscious. I could drink a ton of it.

Bottle pours a cloudy gold/orange pour with a nice strong creamy white head. Scent is fruit, wood and hops. Taste is wood, citrus and hops. Creamy. Everything a great IPA should be. dEnk (4200) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - FEB 23, 2011
UPDATED: FEB 24, 2011 Aroma is somehow creamy oak with loads of hops, fruity, floral, blue cheese. Niiiice.
Flavour is fruity wood, lavished with hops, quite sweet and quite bitter at the same time. Perfect balance. Good good stuff. Vaiz (4460) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - FEB 23, 2011
Bottle from secret santa, thanks! Aroma of very smooth hops, delicate pine, floral and pleasant. But it did not prepare me for the awesome flavor. Huge explosion of flowery hops and a perfect touch of oak makes this very very drinkable. Amazing balance. Great brew. Megatron (6) - Ohio, USA - JUN 7, 2011 does not count
Bonus from MikeLuke23 in a recent trade. I already liked Jai Alai so I was jazzed to try this.
Aroma: Smells like coconut and grapefruit for sure. Really dig it.
Appearance: Rather murky burnt orange color with a thin white head.
Taste: Love it, the oak really adds some great coconut flavor to this already enjoyable ipa. I am really looking forward to my trip to florida this month so I can pick up a of these to take home with me. robinvboyer (4666) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 30, 2011
Now this is how you oak age an ipa!! Right off the bat, a big pungent whiff of piney hop resins, and light tropical fruit, and then a good dose of nutty oak. The carb and mouthfeel are just about perfect. The finish is light and crisp, medium bitterness, and a nice piney aftertaste. The oak is not overwhelming, its very complimentary, adding a subtle yet very tasty nutty oak character. Impressive beer!
