COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is an American White Oak-aged version of Jai Alai India Pale Ale. The white oak adds smoothing notes of vanilla and slight hints of dill to the aroma and flavor profile. The finish is elegantly dry due to the light tannin notes from oak aging and though still loaded with hop flavor, hop bitterness is more restrained.

Bottle. Love the oaky dryness the oak aging brings. An improvement on the base beer. Most wood aged IPAs Ive tried have been a little rough, but leave it to Cigar City to make things work to perfection.

Sample at MBCC2017. Golden with white head. Fruity hoppy with oaky vanilla. I dont think the oak and hops mix very well, making the IPA feel old and dull.

Bottle. A- Dill, oak, citrus, pine. A- Golden orange color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Dill, oak, floral, mild bitterness. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, slightly bitter finish. O- The oak aging definitely does bring out a lot of wood and dill flavor. Not bad but a bit different. Not sure if I like it better than the regular Jai Alai or not.

Poured from the tap into a pint glass at the Crystal Beer Palace in Savannah. The appearance is a deep gold color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is full of fruit, hops and some oak. The taste is big on fruit with a noticeable touch of oak.
