amber color, aroma of grapefruit, pine hops, bread, grain, flavors are the same, nice hop flavor, crisp clean and easy to drink
A hazed amber ale with a thin frothy mocha head. In aroma, nice smooth floral hops, with nice citrus, menthol, very nice. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with piney and citrusy floral hops, lingering and smooth, nice. On tap at brewery, Dec. 9 2012. DialSquare (5028) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JAN 4, 2013
On tap at Proof. Brown-orange pour with thin light tan head and frothy sheets of lace. Earthy malt aroma. Tastes are wet hops, spices, orange, breast. Strange creamy thin texture. Huh. SHIG (4962) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - DEC 21, 2012
Growler thanks to my loving wife: Poured a copper burnt orange with a frothy off white head. Aroma was hops and fruit. Very juicy wet hops with a nice mix of fruit and sweet balancing malts. Nice lingering taste! PorterPounder (7961) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - DEC 21, 2012
Tallahassee, Fl - on tap at Proof Brewing Company. Medium copper pour, off-white head with nice lacing. Slightly funky aroma with some toe jam notes. Flavor has some white grape accents, an odd unidentified spice, some juicy nectarine accents and just a touch of bitter citrus. Thickish, rich mouthfeel. Different, but pretty solid. jbruner (4734) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - DEC 19, 2012
Pours a slightly hazy golden orange on tap with frothy off-white head that dissipates to leave great lacing. Aroma of the hops, sweet citrus and slight pine. Taste follows with a tad of pale malt back and bitter sweet finish. Decent, but not the best hop for single hopping.

UPDATED: JAN 4, 2013 Of the 3 pale ales I tried on tap at the brewery, this one is the best. The body is so juicy and thirst quenching! Pours unclear orange amber with a creamy white head. Aroma brings juicy hop sweet hop notes. Flavors are sweet and juicy citrus hops as well on a bigger than expected juicy body. Wow! Tmoney99 (14455) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 5, 2012
Draft. Poured a clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate earthy hop and small malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Solid beer. b3shine (8864) - Indiana, USA - NOV 25, 2012
Draft to taster at Cigar City. Looks solid; burnt-orange with foamy off-white head that dissipates into lacing. Smells solid too; bitter hops and semi-sweet malt. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. A decent example of the style. dchmela (3062) - Orlando, Florida, USA - NOV 23, 2012
Tap at the brewery. Muddy dark yellow pour. Big citrus pine hop aroma. Medium body, citrus hop taste. Fairly standard, yet tasty brew.
