UPDATED: FEB 1, 2004 Hazy golden orange color, short head. Sweet candy aroma, bubblegum, cookie, hay. Malty taste, cookie, sweet candy sugar. Slightly alcoholic palate, but therefore belly warming, which is quite nice after a day of skiing. TChrome (1481) - North Richland Hills, Texas, USA - JAN 19, 2004
Beer pours dark golden with a relatively small white head that completely dissipates. Aroma is sweet with notes of honey, pear, and a little yeast. Flavor is initially spicy and the finish is fruity and clean. Good, repeatable, not great belgian strong. Gromit (478) - Port Orchard, Washington, USA - JAN 6, 2004
Light, refreshing, and very pleasant. Just like the French people as a whole, only completely different.
This reminds me of a Belgian, only not as dry and with more flavor than most.
Pours a golden straw color with some chill haze that goes away as the beer warms.
Smells very fruity. Very Belgian in the scent. There's some hints of cinnamon and other light spices.
Tastes good. Apricot is the most obvious flavor. It's rather spicy. The flavors become more complex as the beer gets warmer.
Mouthfeel is full without too much carbonation.
Drinkability rates very high because it's not overly sweet, not too carbonated, and it's quite refreshing. I could easily have several of these. veronika (410) - SWEDEN - DEC 24, 2003

Pale yellow hazy beer with white head.
Spicy tea-like aroma with sweet fruity tones. Hints of citrus, smoke and bread. Notable acidity.
Spicy tea flavour with stony and almondy tones and notes of wood, cardamon, wheat, hops and cirus. Peppery finish.
The best french beer I´ve had so far. larsniclas (7209) - Billdal, SWEDEN - OCT 26, 2003
