Bottle a gift from Amy. Yellow a bit cloudy. With white foam that lasts and sticks well to the sites of the glass. Mild aroma of fruit, apricot, mixed with malty alcohol. Malt, hint of fruit with alcohol, strong grapefruit bitterness in the aftertaste becoming more metalic and peppery as it grows. Medium carbon medium body. Clear orange beer, small creamy head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very sweet, oranges, orange peel, some alcohol. MF: good carbon, full body. Taste: pretty fruity start, ripe tangerines, general bitterness, alcohol, little sugary, touch of passion fruit, almonds. Aftertaste: some marzipan, malts, orange peel, bitter ending. Not too bad! I could do some après-ski on this stuff. ;-)
Bottle, ice cold @ Yeti bar Avoriaz. Darker amber coloured beer with medium carbonation and a short white head. Rather malty to somewhat grainy herby hinted aroma. Medium to full palate. Finish is again light bitter malty with some sweet herby touches. OK. CH-303 (2291) - Fribourg, SWITZERLAND - NOV 25, 2011
Appearance: Orange golden. Slightly hazy. Some off-white head.
