nybol (2200) - DENMARK - MAR 13, 2016
Lys orange farvet, lille hvidt hoved. Næsten helt over i wit’en.

Silvan7 (1243) - Samarate, ITALY - FEB 13, 2016
on tap @ Hurricane Grill.

Slightly hazy medium amber, good frothy white head, diminishing slowly, good lacing; faint aroma, light malty, grainy, yeast, bit cheese, some coriander; taste is medium sweet and light bitter, grainy, bit toffee, average durantion; medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, finish buttery and mild bitter, spicy notes; not bad but neither very special Abbey beer.

Nice and well balanced Belgian ale with a refreshing taste of bitter hops and sweet malt body.

Bottle from Carrefour Express, near Place Rogier, Brussels. Perfectly fine blonde Belgian. Most special, but fine. I like the Ciney branding, although they have recently revamped it to make it slightly worse.

Thanks slovaksniper for this extra. Light clear golden body, white head, some lacing. Sweet grainy aroma, maybe a touch of vanilla. Taste is sweet grains again, maybe some apple. Too much like a sweet pale lager. But not bad.

Robe blonde, mousse peu abondante.

Pours golden and clear blonde with a rocky head that doesn’t last. Fruity aromas of citrus, herbs and hay. It tastes light sweet with a long finish, not too bitter. The body is medium and the carbonation average. A decent ale.
