Fruit nor of plums and cherries. A hint of alcohol. Sweet taste, candysugar with still a bit sourness of fruit. Short aftertaste. I would say this beer is to classify as a ’ summer double’

Pours hazy brown with a lasting, short, tan head. The aroma contains caramel, nuts, syrup, some red fruits, biscuit, hops, (light roasted) malt and milk chocolate. It tastes medium to heavy sugary/malty sweet and only light hoppy bitter with a slightly metallic edge. Medium body, sticky/slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Secretly liking this.

UPDATED: OCT 7, 2017 Good color, medium/dark red. not to much aroma maybe due to the serving temp too much cold. Decent taste sweet, and medium light body. not the best dubbel/doppelbock I've drank but a good one after all

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 26B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch B62222116 (BBF 05-02-18). AROMA: medium bread crust aroma, mixed with slight perfumy notes. faint toffee and raisins. APPEARANCE: dark reddish amabar color and clear. medium ivory head with medium retention. lace formation. TASTE: medium malty-sweet bread crust flavor, mixed with medium-low to low toffee and dried grapes. low bitterness with a semi-dry finish that continues to dry out. faint cardboard note. PALATE: medium body with medium-low carbonation. smooth with no alcohol warmth. OVERALL: a good belgian dubbel with a lot of its main characteristics.

Bottle - 250ml. Brown body with ruby glints and an average, off-white foamy head. Good malty/hoppy aroma with brown sugar, caramel, and fruity hints. Its well balanced malty/hoppy taste carries caramel and some woody notes. Ends with a moderately warming, bittersweet finish. Enjoyable.

Bottle of 25cl, in a Ciney glass; from the fridge. Very refreshing brown ale, with a candi sugar taste but without too much sweetness. Aroma is malty and not so hoppy. The head is creamy brown, and the colour is deep brown.
