Bottle. Dark amber color, beige head. Aroma of caramel. Flavor of caramel. That’s about it. Not much character or complexity. BelgBeerGeek (1308) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - AUG 14, 2010
rare 33cl bottle from 1999 @ kulminator confusedboy0 (99) - BELGIUM - MAR 21, 2010
head: 2 fingers, beige
colour: dark red/brown
smell: caramel, toffee, creme brullee, malts, licqour
taste: coffee, licqour, malts, maple sirup, overall sweet body , oily mouthfeel ,bitter end , but very very nice , hell of a vintage !!
Probably the strongest one of the known Cineys. I prefer this one on a quiet evening, strong palet. It is not really called a triple but it has some similar features. I like the after-taste: some fruity thing in it but can not recall what exactly. Like also the colour, bit opaque... but that is not a problem when the taste welcomes you. pompelmoes (89) - BELGIUM - DEC 10, 2009
Intens dark beer with beige foam. aroma is slight roasted and sweet with hints of caramel. Taste is rich, sweet caramel like with touches of roastiness and some hop bitters in the end.

1996 bottle at Kulminator. This dark brown beer pourd with a thin beige head and a magnificent caramel aroma. The beer has mellowed very well into a sherry-like taste. Plum , raisin, toffee, milk - complex yet simple.

The 1996 vintage at Kulminator. Pours dark reddish brown. With a decent beige head. Aromas of reddish fruit and smooth roast malt. Mild, almost no, carbonation. Near full bodied. Finishes not quite dry, and somewhat sherry or calvados. A really smooth and tasty ale. The bottle was crusty from Dirk’s old cellar. Quite a treat. fata2683 (2176) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - MAR 9, 2009
25cl 1996 vintage from the Kulminator, pours dark brown with a tall very frothy tan head. Aroma is roasted and smoked malt with some brown sugar and light liqorice. Flavors are very pleasant...time has done good things to this beer. Roasted malt and some fruity yeast flavors fill the mouth with a creamy feel and round out with a light spice of cinnamon and some raisin flavors in the finish with absolutely no sign of alcohol. Just lovely. yespr (44810) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JAN 11, 2009
25 cL bottle, 2001 vintage from DHVL, 9%. Pours dark brown with a small of-white head. Fruity and dark malty aroma. Sweet fruity, estery. Light chalky note to a dark chocolate and dry roasted malt flavour. Subdued bitterness. Light fruity and yeasty finish. BelgiskOlklub (1079) - Viby J, DENMARK - OCT 26, 2008
