Sampled at Texas Beerfest. Pours a clear amber with a small off white head. The aroma is sweet raisin malt and caramel. Medium mouthfeel with light malt and brown sugar and nice sweet finish. Easy to drink, a good ESB from CBC. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - NOV 21, 2011

GABF 2011. Clear dark amber with a frothy light tan head. Aroma of toffee, English honey malt, big cereal grains. Flavor has nice English toffee malts with cereal grains, soft floral bitter hops, balancing nicely. A little on the burnt side, and on a medium body. Average, but not shabby. Poured out a stupid tree brown, light but sturn foam .. . some light bitterness, some maple maltiness and a weird fruit.. . swollen eyes .. . OK stuff but needs work .. . But I am who I am. - Yeah let’s pretend you aren’t who you are and just try to attract a woman.

On draft, somewhere in Austin. Dark red but kinda thin. Another cleanly made beer without technical imperfection, but lacking any noteworthy aspects. There are some vague notes of caramel here, but that’s about all I can say for it. (#5238, 9/1/2013) thirdeye11 (6160) - Dallas, Texas, USA - NOV 4, 2011
(Draught) deep ruby/copper with creamy tan head and nice lacing. Nose of brown sugar, molasses, sweet, graham crackers, toasty, and caramel. Taste is toasty, metallic, crackers, bready, crisp, medium carbonation, medium to light in body. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - OCT 29, 2011
On tap at the Draught House 43rd Anniversary Party. This is my first beer from Circle Brewing.
The beer pours an amber color with a white head. The aroma is full of toffee and caramel malt, with a little bit of grain and some grass mixed in.
The flavor is similar. I get some nice toasted malt character, along with some grass and a little bit of bitterness. There is also some nice malt sweetness from all of the caramel and toffee malt. The alcohol is completely hidden and the beer is easy to drink.
Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. travita (5003) - Dallas, Texas, USA - MAR 8, 2014
Bottle. The look is an off white ok head, the color is amber to red, and and is almost clear. The smell is caramel, paper, cardboard, winey, malt, and hops. The taste is mush, hops, malts, paper, and ok. kidmartinek (4999) - austin, Texas, USA - FEB 11, 2011
Deep clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma of fall leaves, and twigs. Tight malty flavor with 30% hops in the finish. Full body and flavor. Too bad this cant be the default amber ’round the world.
