Draft pour @ Cisco. Almost black in glass. Lush chocolate milkshake head. Amazing aroma. Resin and floral hops (which are surprisingly present for style). Some faint citrus. Nice roasted malts behind. Not sure this wonderful perfume is due to freshness of the keg I sampled, some weird tap line issue or a flaw with my senses. And I don’t care. Complex, but never outlandish, I could smell this all day. Taste was a mild comedown. Chalky. Some chocolate. Berries. Mild bitter finish. Well executed
