750 ml shared by derek. Thanks! Pours a glowing reddish orange, some amber. Aromas are sweet cherries, some lemonade, some bready and toffee malts. Rich, sweet, a touch of brett and oak) vanilla. Initial is tart cherry lemonade, a touch of oak, lemonade sourness, cherries, toffee and biscuity malts. Sour tart cherries and lemonade are the normal here, sour citrus acidity and cherries, a faint touch of oak and sweet malts. Nice tart sourness, fruity, malts fall behind with a touch of acidity, vinegar, light barrel element of vanilla tannins and oak. Light alcohol content is nice, makes this very drinkable. 750 ml bottle at DC local tasting. Tasted next to its cousin, Dark Woods. Pink and frothy. Very bright, nice prominent fruit, slight sourness to balance the sweet start. Tasty. pantanap (3366) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 28, 2010
750ml bottle from deyholla... Pours a strawberry pale reddish pour with a thin soapy white head... Sour oak with apricots with lesser notes of cherry and some sweeter grains... Lighter oak and cherry flavors with subdued vinegar notes. Mild acidity but really drinkable all around. Lighter in body but def exceeded expectations. bvc (1242) - Washington, USA - AUG 18, 2010
750ml corked and caged. Pours a light wheaty cranberry red with little head that falls to nothing quickly. Nose is tart winey cherry, slight funk, wet wool, hints of farm dung and light chalk. Carb is very light. Syrupy fruit, mostly cherry and cranberry, wet oak and wool, bretty light funk...spicy wit base is detectable. Kind of thin and one dimensional, but easy to drink.

Nose is tart and poopy with notes of cherry very light wit beer base aroma. Reddish still pour. Poopy funky flavors up front, tart cherry, acidic lemon notes, lingering funk, light belgian wit. Dry tart finish. Not overly complex but well done. kbutler1 (1381) - North Carolina, USA - AUG 16, 2010
Bottle. Pours a peach colored red with very little head, the lack of head may be a result of this being poured while it was still pretty cold though. Very strong aroma of cherry in the nose, both sweet and tart at the same time. The first thing about the taste is the tartness of the beer followed by a sweetness that reminded me of marichino cherries. Clean finish. Slightly funky aftertaste as well. Light mouthfeel. Would advise in sharing a big bottle of this as the tartness would probably get a little brutal after a while but nevertheless this is a really great beer. thirdeye11 (6160) - Dallas, Texas, USA - AUG 14, 2010
(750ml bottle thanks to Exiled) opaque orange/pink grapefruit color with ring of white bubbles. Nose of tart real rainier cherries, tangerine, and lemon, quite refreshing. Taste of lemon juice, tart cherries and cinnamon. Low carbonation, very tart finish with light lactic acid lingering. Really well done. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - AUG 9, 2010
(750ml bottle, courtesy of Exiled) Pours a hazy pinkish amber with a spare white head. Aroma of cherry, horseblanket, wood, grain, and earth. Flavor of cherry, wood, acidic, and some earthiness with a dry finish. Nellie (349) - Dallas, Texas, USA - AUG 7, 2010
exiled is the man with the master plan.
Smells like cherry limeade. Lime skin. Sour and fruity is all it is. And that rules.
