This was one of the standouts of the day, thanks Dave! .. . Pours a deep brown, medium foam .. . cherry, sherry skin, light tart funk, and wheat filled oak barrel .. . i could drink this all day, this is the session wild ale all of hollywood has been raving about!! .. find this if you can, a real treat! .. . When I held this beer in my hand, I felt a surge of power…like God must feel when he’s holding a beer.

2009 vintage

Head: none
App: orange/copper , clear, lots of tiny bubbles,
Aroma: smell is awesome ! is it due to the age ? anyway superb ! lots of fruity accents , but mainly sweetsour cherrys, also a bit of pears , smell is sour but not acidic or vinegary , just sour, very nice
Taste: start is sweet cherrys , then sour cherrys, then the palate becomes sour but not overwhelming, you get allof of the oak flavours as well, bit of vanilla, bit of pears and sour/green apples, bit of strawberry as well , the palate cleans and makes room for a fruity well balanced woody flavour, end is semi dry , aftertaste is tiny bit grassy , very very nice !!!

Pours red with a tan, lingering head. Smells of sour cherries, some sugary ihnts, funky, some dusty hints (think old barn in the countryside). Tastes Sour, tarte, fruity with some residual sugar and a funky lambic like taste. The most complex of the three I got to try.

exiled is the man with the master plan. Smells like cherry limeade. Lime skin. Sour and fruity is all it is. And that rules.

On tap. Pours a clear rosy amber with minimal head and carbonation. Nose is dry, quite sour, fruity, some vinegar. The cherries are certainly detectable, and there are also notes of grape and apple. Medium-bodied. Taste is quite sour, dry, more fruitiness. Finishes long and sour with increasing yeastiness. This definitely tasted more like a sour ale than a wheat ale. Great stuff.

wow what a beer. Enjoyed on tap at the sunset grill in a tulip. This was a strange pinkish beer with no head in my serving. The aroma was a delightful sweet cherry and also got a bit of that wheat but that was very hard to detect. The taste was a great sour cherry that made my lips smack just a bit but left me wanting more. Dry finish as that tartness fades. Some will call this a soda and girly but I really do love it. Very unique for me and greatly enjoyed

(750ml bottle thanks to Exiled) opaque orange/pink grapefruit color with ring of white bubbles. Nose of tart real rainier cherries, tangerine, and lemon, quite refreshing. Taste of lemon juice, tart cherries and cinnamon. Low carbonation, very tart finish with light lactic acid lingering. Really well done.

I kinda rushed this tasting and had it in a solo cup. Usually when there’s a hot chick pouring the beer sucks. There was a really hot chick pouring this, fucking crazy. Like a well made kriek sour made by the best in Belgian. Cherry adds not overwhelms the delicacy of bretting a witt beer. Out-fucking-standing.
