COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The name "Grey Lady" comes from the nickname for the often-foggy island for which it is brewed. This hazy, Belgian-style Wit emits a complex, earthy nose with sophisticated notes. The sift, malty mid-palate has wicked good zesty hints but gives way to a delectably dry finish. Quenching!

22 ounce bottle from the Beverage Warehouse in Winooski, VT (July 2008), sampled a few minutes out of the fridge from a Duvel glass. Immense perfectly snowy, smooth head recedes slowly with little lacing above the very cloudy deep gold body....musty, earthy aroma with floral (jasmine) and light citrus (lemon) hints, somewhat dusty and old -- in a good way -- seeming....earthy, lightly tart, somewhat mineralic body, very crisp and quaffable, a little on the full side, clean and bright and extremely refreshing, drier than most....no world-beater, but at this moment on a very hot and humid night, just what I want in a witbier.

Drank out of a can. Add a little citrus to cesspool juice and that's your aroma and taste. No body. I love beer, especially IPA's. This beer is the worst I've ever experienced. I'd rather drink pee in warm Genesee..

nice looking sunny lemon ale with hazy wheat. good solid enough body with flavors of Belgian beer spice not overdone yet not at all light. no hint of low abv which can always be a problem. yes hints of zest cause not everyone needs to citrus out they’re wit brew. a little murky salt near the finish keeps it charmingly sea Mass.

Hops, grass and citrus scents. Pours gold slightly cloudy with a thin fast dissipating white head. Interesting tastes of apricot and lemon balancing sweet and sour. Very short crisp finish. Understated but well made Wit.

Boring!!! Bad pour as the head quickly dissipates. Light Belgian flavors quickly diminish to blandness. Mouthfeel & aroma are decent enough but overall this is weak & not worth trying!

This spiced number poured a light yellow colour with a quick living head. Little lacing. Scents include a little clove, banana and a little hop. First swig was a little thin but had nice smooth mouthfeel. Flavours of bananas backed after by minimal hoppy bitterness. Finish is medium malty with that fruit flavour lingering. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
