3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 ounce bottle from the Beverage Warehouse in Winooski, VT (July 2008), sampled a few minutes out of the fridge from a Duvel glass. Immense perfectly snowy, smooth head recedes slowly with little lacing above the very cloudy deep gold body....musty, earthy aroma with floral (jasmine) and light citrus (lemon) hints, somewhat dusty and old -- in a good way -- seeming....earthy, lightly tart, somewhat mineralic body, very crisp and quaffable, a little on the full side, clean and bright and extremely refreshing, drier than most....no world-beater, but at this moment on a very hot and humid night, just what I want in a witbier.
The name "Grey Lady" comes from the nickname for its often foggy island it calls home

nice looking sunny lemon ale with hazy wheat. good solid enough body with flavors of Belgian beer spice not overdone yet not at all light. no hint of low abv which can always be a problem. yes hints of zest cause not everyone needs to citrus out they’re wit brew. a little murky salt near the finish keeps it charmingly sea Mass. billydufour (2) - - JUN 4, 2017 does not count
One of my favorite beers. Great especially spring and summer. Have recently found this in DC area at Magruder's.

Cloudy orange appearance with bold citrus body with a bit of peppercorn and salt. 17Beer (354) - Connecticut, USA - NOV 25, 2016
Hops, grass and citrus scents. Pours gold slightly cloudy with a thin fast dissipating white head. Interesting tastes of apricot and lemon balancing sweet and sour. Very short crisp finish. Understated but well made Wit.

Boring!!! Bad pour as the head quickly dissipates. Light Belgian flavors quickly diminish to blandness. Mouthfeel & aroma are decent enough but overall this is weak & not worth trying! Tessic (1153) - Brantford, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 12, 2016
This spiced number poured a light yellow colour with a quick living head. Little lacing. Scents include a little clove, banana and a little hop. First swig was a little thin but had nice smooth mouthfeel. Flavours of bananas backed after by minimal hoppy bitterness. Finish is medium malty with that fruit flavour lingering.

We tasted a set that has four different beers from the same brewery. This was the best one. malrubius (2900) - Springfield, Vermont, USA - AUG 24, 2016

Bottle from Brewtopia. Hazy pale yellow orange with fizzy head that ends up as a ring. Coriander citrus and spice. Pineapple fruity sweetness with zesty citrus and spice finish and something lingering and floral herbal that I can’t quite put my finger on. Light body slightly slick. Good but not great. Should have better head retention and a better softer mouthfeel with more internal carbo. ROGUE (2215) - Lewes, Delaware, USA - JUL 27, 2016
On tap at SLL tasting.Pours a cloudy straw yellow color with some stray chunky sediments floating around. Fizzy at first, but dissipate quickly. Cloves with some fruity esters make up its aroma profile. The taste is mild, with a clove-like something noticed. A little bit of lemon zest in the finish. Somewhat thin-bodied. Very nice prickly carbonation.
